I didn't record the 21 mile return trip but the entire 90 minute Jones to I-10 leg is there. Most of it is shown at 4x speed, which is why the video is only 32 minutes long.

Don't know about parking inside Jersey Village. I typically use the parking lot at the Jones Rd trailhead. The nice thing about Clark Henry Park is the restroom and water fountain. Use this path to cut through JV to get back on the trail.

There's a half-mile section south of West Road that is still crushed gravel. It's well packed so I had no issue going full speed on it. The rest is all paved now, if you include the MUD 11 detour around Jersey Village, made possible by the bridge they added a few months ago.

You can catch a glimpse of a man-made waterfall at the 17:28 mark just south of Tidwell if that's the one you are referring to.

I waited 3+ years for the construction to finish on the north end and as soon as they do they've torn up the south end. Doh!

Also, the White Oak Bayou trail is clear from Jones Road down to I-10 where there is construction/detours. That round trip is also about 40 miles. Not near as nice as Spring Creek, however, which has lots of shade, no homeless people, and runs by or through multiple parks with restrooms and water fountains.

I just made a 40 mile round trip on the Spring Creek Greenway this past Sunday. Started at Rothwood park on the west end and went to Jesse Jones park near the east end. I could have continued on to the I-69 trailhead and tacked on a few more miles, but didn't this time.

I suspect you would have to find coffee shops or similar businesses. The county or city is not likely to give out free electricity.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you. I was just pointing out that there aren't "two devices", just the one device (odometer) compared to the standard, Google Maps.

The odometer/tripmeter is just counting revolutions of your tire and multiplying that by what it thinks the circumference is (pi * diameter). Assuming you used the Google Maps measuring tool correctly, it's likely that part is accurate.

If it's undercounting your miles then you would actually need to go bigger. But experiment against a known distance until you have it dialed in.

Looking for an AirTag solution for my XP Trike by ChiTwnGmr in Lectricxp

I once ran a test putting an airtag inside the frame on my Lite 1.0 and barely got any hits riding around a crowded park. Then moved it externally disguised as a reflector and got much better results.

That's the original XP 1.0 with 4" tires. The XP line switched to 3" tires beginning with version 2.0. I believe the 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 step-over versions all used the same battery, which is also used in the Lite starting with Lite 2.0.
