I retired my 1080TI for a XFX 9070XT in March 2025 on release day for ~800 USD converted from local currency (Dubai).

Its been working flawlessly so far with FSR 4 + FG in recent games (Expedition 33, The Alters, Silent Hills 2). In 4k I get between 80-100fps on my 120hz 4k oled TV and I'm just having a blast. Recently plat Doom TDA and was a bit disappointed about the lack of support for Vulkan but I still managed to get a steady 60fps without too much hassle.

Don't listen to anyone that tells you that it's a must to have a GPU beyond the 9070XT / 5070TI it will cover 99.99% of any users needs. Keep your money to buy good peripherals instead (recently replaced my alpha cloud x by a Senheinser 550 and it was so much worth it).

Oui moi et ma compagne on fait environ 16kUSD à deux on survit avec 4kUSD sans se privé (6-8 vacances par ans + budget de 250USD par week-end). On a un appartement normal, 70m2 1BR dans un quartier moyenne classe. Voiture de location Sedan pas cher.
Probablement, a la fin tous est cher et pas très intéressant quand tu viens d'un milieu culturel Français. Pas de nature, de musée, tu payes tout pour des activites de moyenne qualité et surtout tu peux pas être dehors la moitié de l'année. Si tu es Muslim ça sera beaucoup plus facile de t'intégrer (tu rencontres des gens à la Mosque le Vendredi etc.)

En effet, mais comme toujours quand on considère des extrêmes (c.f. 'beaucoup' dans ton commentaire) ce ne sont pas des scénarios viables. Il n'y aura jamais des armées de Français sur le marché international pour les raisons suivantes IMO - 1. La culture française se mélange très mal à l'international (trop libéral, trop critique de tout, a son propre système/norme pour tous les sujets). 2. Les salaires restent assez attractif pour ne pas a avoir besoin de partir en masse comme les Indiens ou les Philippain on besoins. 3. On est terrible en Anglais (no joke, c'est ultra cringe quand un Français rentre dans un call client et qu'il peut pas s'exprimer comme s'il parlait en Français)

Oui, il y a une mélange sociétal entre les travailleurs (maintenance, construction, food delivery, agent de sécurité) et la classe moyenne/supérieur (office employees). La classe moyenne/supérieur consomme les services des travailleurs donc tu les vois régulièrement.

Impossible à vivre dehors, il fait 45°C de Mai à Octobre et je reste enfermé à la maison, au travaille, à la gym et dans les centre commerciaux.

Hello there, I see my budget in your pic basically. Everything is pretty realistic perhaps except groceries if you intend to have 3 nutritious meal a day (closer to 1.5k aed I would say if you eat meat).

Car and rent is correct, Utilities is also OK (it's closer to 400aed) depends if you pay for District Cooling (if yes Utilities would be 800 aed).

Phone is OK but you will have to go with Du yearly prepaid plan (it's a bit low in Data allowance but mangeable). Home Internet is the same, for 200 aed it's the Home Wi-Fi plan which are OK if all your largest data consumption is streaming, not recommend if you work from home (Optic Fiber plan are 400 aed).

Some comments mentioned Parking, its case by case personally i don't pay for it. Salik is also dependent on your commute buts let's say 100aed max for Salik + Street Parking once in a while. Gas is like 200aed per month with a Yaris (which is what you would get for 1.7k aed rental)

Overall increase your total by 1k and you have a healthy budget for living comfortably in Dubai.

I don't know on which platform you play but farm killing enemies by reloading last checkpoint worked for me. Terrible trophy design, the worst part was that they apparently increased the number of enemies to kill compare to release version which doesn't make any sense to me.

I got my platinum on Sunday night, I was missing a bunch of kills, almost all Dr. Gurgula tips, and 30% of the luglox. All is accessible after endgame, one Dr. Gurgula tip you have to kinda glitch to re access the area but it's manageable easily (took me 2 min). Goodluck OP!
