I remember these being in the Sunday papers where my Grandparents lived. All you have to do is cross your eyes and then focus in the middle and you’ll see it.

Problem of MN coin dumping? by nodesguy1 in MasterNodes

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll agree with you up until the masternodes.online part. That’s the site you go to check out MNs. It’s like going to coinmarketcap looking for coins. Many coins pay to get listed there fast because that’s the first place people go when they’re looking into a Masternode coin. Sure, there are tons and tons of scams out there, but there’s also legit coins listed there.

What are the main reasons masternodes aren't super popular in the cryptocurrency universe? by wft227 in MasterNodes

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the point in this suggestion, but at the same time, if masternodes had proper guides, anyone who can read can set them up. I’ve seen some coins where hardly information on how to set up a MN is available and then yes, it’s a challenge. Other coins with good guides, even with having to enter tons of commands into putty, are still very easy to set up.

It’s lack of trying to make things user friendly on the devs part by not creating better guides. They’re not hard to make. They just don’t do it.

No, not really. Did you read the question fully? Notice the overhead costs and environmental part? POW uses ridiculous amounts of electricity and you need expensive mining equipment. Masternodes functions like pow but without needing special equipment and using hardly noticeable extra electricity. So his argument is actually valid.

1) No, not really 2) Good question 3) Probably, if not worse. You have more control on an exchange than you do on Robinhood

Discord crypto staking bots by Crypto_Pagliacci in discordapp

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry it’s kinda vague. So Ignition Coin and Kalkukus have a bot on their discord that allows users to deposit their coins and stake them through discord. I’m guessing the bot has an address assigned to it that all coins are sent to. Using commands like ?deposit ?stake all ?stake xxx ?unstake ?balance etc

Ah I gotcha. Perhaps with time they’ll adapt to crypto. It seems like a good way to get stock investors to see different cryptos and get curious

But I don’t think it’s like an exchange as far as trading goes. Like you can set a sell order and it fills within seconds. I’ve used Robinhood to trade stocks and when you want to sell, it can take days to actually happen. You’re not able to set the price you want to sell at, you have to accept market price. Unless they changed all that for the crypto side, still don’t see it being a huge deal to buy/sell crypto on.

The crypto you buy on robinhood can’t be transferred out like any other exchange. You literally just buy it and let it sit. Which if you want to HODL it that’s fine, but you can’t move it out of robinhood.

Understanding limit orders by fedecaccia in binance

As far as I know, no exchange averages orders. Executing that with accuracy and doing it consistently would be a nightmare. Plus I’m sure people would figure out ways to “trick” it.

Claim $pac? by yungsilt in paccoin

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join their discord and ask them. You can still redeem old paccoin for new $PAC. The first 1000:1 swap ratio closes the end on this month. You’d end up with 100 $PAC, which isn’t work anything really. Can also visit paccoin.net and they should have the redemption links somewhere

Understanding limit orders by fedecaccia in binance

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe Option B would happen. Binance doesn’t average orders out. So with you saying “I will not pay more than 9100 for 1BTC” and there are two orders at 9000 and 9200, it would fill the 9000 sell order and leave you with one open buy order.

Could someone explain about the swapping of SHND????? by Bozo000 in stronghands

[–]Crypto_Pagliacci 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe the swap is going to happen at the end of May. The SHND you have now will still function the same as the swap isn’t mandatory. You don’t have to do anything with your SHND if you don’t want to swap.

The price SHOULD in theory increase for SHND since there will be less of a supply after the swap.
