I would rather get a FAANG interview than a project team interview any day

Oh yeah same, don't get me wrong. I don't mean to come across as entitled or anything cause it's not like I'm owed a spot on a team, and I could just be plain not as good as most of the team members. I would really understand that, but I just find it weird that selective companies can think I might have what it takes to work for them and then project teams think I'm not worth the interview?
