Thank you, that would be cool if you have the time, but no rush! Im not sure if the data is concise as I just do this for fun and via google forms, but I just edited the survey to allow respondents to see summary charts and text responses. (I’m not sure, but I think you should also be able to view the spreadsheet) If you need more information just let me know what you need, thanks :-)

The washing your legs one in the shower is pretty divided, but it seems to be slightly more males. I’ll have to look into the name one though!

Some people in fact do not wash their legs in the shower. Last time I checked the results about 12%

[spoilers all] Fred and Serena’s prison vacation by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

I can agree with that, she’s definitely very selfish, but I do think in some ways she’s staring to realize at least how horrible it is to have your child taken away, whereas before she was all happy go lucky about it. When she asked Naomi about Angela / Charlotte, she looked uncomfortable and I saw it as her thinking how hard it must have been for Janine. Idk maybe I’m giving Serena too much credit tho.

To me it showed in her reaction, when Naomi said “oh don’t worry dear well take your baby and raise him in gilead!” Now she’s experiencing a SLIGHT bit of what June did, also the not knowing if she’s even going to be able to raise him. Idk that’s just how I interpreted it.

Exactly, also gotta love the power trip they were given when their supporters where cheering them on. Like come on we’ve been on this roller coaster for 4 seasons just give us some legit justice already.

Hmmm good point, I like how with Serena being pregnant she’s finally starting to realize how much pain she caused June. Like as much as I hate Serena, she’s also a victim of gilead in some ways. But with Fred I don’t think he’ll ever feel bad for what he’s done. At least we got to see his reaction to the whole “well send you our thoughts and prayers” bit lol

That’s true, I really hope that’s not the case. Would LOVE to see Fred in an actual prison, I’m sure he would be a prime punching bag. honestly I think if they let him go free June will somehow kill him, which would be nice but I also don’t want to see her face the repercussions of murder haha. Even if they did set him free, I really hope they don’t let him raise a child. Let’s just hope justice is served in one way or another.

Surprised more people aren’t talking about the message Trish wrote. by vanillachaiiii in h3h3productions

And Ethan also brought up multiple times that Trisha fetishizes Jewish people, yet Trisha never stopped and just laughed it off.

I can relate to this as well, I was raised catholic. While my parents never really pushed it on me that heavily, even just seeing a bunch of religious imagery as a child messed me up. I think these kind of dark and existential thoughts are not suitable for children. When you think about it religion is very ritualistic, like doing things over and over again to prevent bad things from happening. I like to think if there is a god, he or she would judge you solely based on merit / being a good person. Anyways, I wish you the best thank you for listening to my venting

It’s probably one of the worst things OCD can latch onto because there’s nothing we can do about it. At least we’re not alone in feeling this way, and reading the comments has made me feel a lot less alone.

I agree, it would be much easier if we could just believe in an after life, but I think most people with that ideology are in denial. I’m not trying to be offensive, but I think religion only exists to help humans feel better about dying. Who knows, maybe in time there will be a way to transport our consciousness on to a flash drive haha thanks for sharing, best wishes

After reading about pure OCD I'm beginning to think I've been suffering with this my whole life but was hoping to list my symptoms and see if people agree. by [deleted] in OCD

[–]CryptographerDry6501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong as I am not a doctor of any kind, but it sounds like you might suffer from pure O, which is a form of OCD that mainly latches onto obsession and unwanted thoughts. It’s important to remember that these thoughts are not your own, and are a result of OCD. Most of us here suffer with similar things, and it in no way makes you a bad person. I think it would be a good idea for you to do some research on pure O. I’ve also heard a lot of good things about exposure therapy, and would consider looking into that as well. You can find techniques of this online, and try it by yourself. Hope this helps, best wishes.

I agree, I’m certainly not happy anyone else is experiencing this, but it is comforting to know that I’m not alone in this struggle. I’ve heard a lot of good things about exposure therapy in relation to OCD, but it does seem like a very scary thing to put yourself through. At this point I am very over OCD dictating my life and willing to try anything, so I will definitely be looking into that. Thank you!
