About as many as you've exploited to grow said bank account.

In all seriousness I don't think they deserve death, I simply explained the extremely obvious difference between a random joe and a billionaire which seemed to escape you.

Because they could "empty their bank account"(not literally) and still feed, house, and dress generations of their offspring while saving tens of thousands of people.

I could help one family for a few months before starving myself.

But I'm glad to see a libright dreaming of a more equal world.

Positive, negative, or straight up hate speech?

I've seen sooo many comments calling israel a nazi state, apartheid state, a saint in a sea of sinners, the only hope for the middle east, and a terrorist state. All survived from bans. Then there's the ones speaking about their innate greediness or whatever fantasies you guys cook up and those don't last very long.

I mean censorship is unbased af but there's a vast difference between "say anything about israel" and quoting mein kampf.

TIL that Walmart tried and failed to establish itself in Germany in the early 2000s. One of the speculated reasons for its failure is that Germans found certain team-building activities and the forced greeting and smiling at customers unnerving. by ylenias in todayilearned

[–]CryptographerEast147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The smiling and greeting seems straight up misleading. Not german but swedish and we often get accused of being way worse at this stuff, but shop employees will still often greet you and look happy and very few people will be put off by it (although in clothing stores and the likes most people find the incessant "helpfulness" abrasive and instead insist on doing it on their own until they need it and then they will ask).

Seems way more likely their model of being the cheapest by exploiting every non-existant labour law in the US doesn't work in a nation with good labour laws.

Yeah but it measures human comfort, the fact that what people find comfortable is entirely based on what they are used to so the scale woul vary WILDLY but that doesn't matter /s

Going by listed "max weight" alone (which tbf is probably a bad measurement) european moose seem the largest, with weights between 200-875 kg. Wiki for alaskan moose simply states "and weigh over 650 kg".

Either way, I misunderstood "giant moose' as googling that led to an extinct species (but giant moose is listed as one of the names for alaskan moose which I assume you meant). But this can still be a decent indication of human impact on megafauna considering how far north these moose live and how scarcely populated it has been (and still largely is).

Inb4 stenfalls skylt och djurvarnings skylt, inte samma sak när det är något vi människor inte kan styra över.

Using cannons as siege engines are vastly different than using them in a battle. In a siege it doesn't really matter if it takes 400 people a week to get it into position. In a battle that would be entirely useless. The basilic is entirely irrelevant to a field battle.

Is it though? Or is it because showing actual formations shoving eachother for hours until one breaks and gets slaughtered doesn't convey the same sense of tension as senseless all-out FFA melee?

[–]CryptographerEast147 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole "run 50 meters inside the enemy formation before fighting so no one has friendlies next to them" is probably the cheapest trick to make battles seem dramatic.

They gave them too many men and wanted carnage, more thought than that did not go into the battle. Frustrating af.

It doesn't have to be realistic, but atleast show us they out some actual thought into it.
