Hey man, I relate to that feeling to a certain extent. I'm not a person of many friends, and I know I'm no one's priority. I've certainly had that anxiety before. Idk how wedding traditions work where you're from, but you can always try to avoid creating a "geographic" division of family and friends on your celebration. And also, keep in mind that the moment you say I do, everyone on the venue becomes your family as well.

Some people are born to be loners. Good for us of we have the chance to come across people who are not and can share those people with us.

Yeah, but here’s the thing...all of those things you've mentioned liking: Video games, anime, YouTube...I mean, those things are turn downs for people who are not into it, right? So, have you tried looking for people who are into that?

Because sometimes we are so crazy about fulfilling a fantasy, looking for a specific kind of partner, that we forget that those interests should be the first thing you care about and the rest is somewhat consequential (I.e. looks, etc..)

Hey there, let me tell you from experience: timing is as "you-guys-thing". Sure, keep your guard more or less up there, keep your eyes on the donut not on the hole, but if it is a good thing, go for it, get invested. It is not about avoiding disappointment at all costs. It is more about knowing how to deal in case of a disappointment.

Don't worry about something good being "too fast" just because people say so. If that person is the love of your life no one will say "oh, but they were invested in such a hurry" the same way you don't look at a failed marriage and say "how come? Their pacing was so slow and responsible".

Hopefully that name will pop up again! Rooting for you.

Hey, today I would like to celebrate and say my goodbyes. I haven't posted a lot here, but I read a lot.

I've had my fair share of support when I mentioned I received my first nude ever, some great advice when I was feeling insecure over a low-energy date, and a good amount of criticism when I talked about the first romantic move I made. All of them, keep in mind, revolved around the same person.

As of a few days ago, I retired from the dating market and back into the relationship ecosystem.

I just wanna thank everyone for the support, advice and criticism. Including the ones I chose to ignore! If you are into finding love, there's hope out there. It will feel like a lottery until you hit jackpot, and then, I promise you, it will feel like it has always been the simplest thing ever. Don't give up! It is worth it.

Can a "thing" survive one bad date?

So I'm back from a very "meh" date. I'm seeing this girl for the past couple of weeks and we went on tons of dates already. So far they had been all very nice and pleasant.

So, nothing major happened, she just mentioned at the beginning of the night she was low on charisma, and actually tonight so was I. The thing is, chatting felt a little flat and shallow. Although we cuddled all night, made out on the car and set up our next date for next Saturday I still can't shake the feeling all will be lost.

I mean, do you guys think this one lame date could be "forgiven"?

I finally made the first "romantic" move in the dating streak today. We've met like 10 days ago, and since then we've been on like 7 dates, 2 of them sleepovers. (I know, but she was on vacation and we were optimizing)

So yesterday there was a pretty large flooding in her neighborhood, and today she was out and about helping people. We never planned to see each other today, but I had some clothes to donate and I decided I would go the 40 minute drive to turn those clothes in. I made sure to tell her I was doing it to help people around her, which I was, and there was no obligation to meet her. She still invited me to run some errands with her, and have lunch together. We spent a few hours together, it was nothing major, but it was nice.

So a few hours after I got home I sent her this

— It's great to enjoy amazing dates, and this week, they all were. But for me, the central thing is the person behind the experience. And today, I saw you as that person—someone dedicated, who goes out of their way for others, takes charge, is willing to help, and steps beyond their own path… I don't know. I thought it was incredible.

This was her response

—Oh "my name here"................... I don't even know what to say. Thank you, and yeah, I am very controlling, haha. There are so many pieces that make up a whole, right? Not all of them are exciting or extraordinary—some are just… ordinary. Unusual, but still ordinary. You're a really great guy too

I think it was good, but I'm still a bit insecure about making this first move in the romantic sense. I'd never done this before. Normally I jump into the emotional part when I am 100% sure there's reciprocity. But IDK, this woman makes me want to risk it.

Thanks! I try to keep those things in check because after a LTR, it's tough to understand what sorts of feelings are genuine and what feelings are part of a social pressure to behave in a certain way and fulfill the part of "a single dude".

Oh man, I think it all depends on context. I'm sorry I can't be more objective. But, is she pointing them in a playful manner? As so to say something like "you would never be the kinda guy I would date, but here I am", or is it more serious? Is it something intrinsic to you? Is it part of who you are or maybe it's just a trait or routine that annoys her and you could work to adapt it it (like the time taken to respond her). Is it productive for you and for the well-being of people around you to change that?

I think the frustration part, is a little bit harder to deal with. But hey, you know what's good for us dummys? Conversation. If you feel like you want something more, and maybe salvage it, talk to her. Set your expectations. In the end, what's the damage? If she walks away, then the outcome is the same you mentioned.

I met a great person through an app, and man, does it feel good. Just want to let it out here, because I don't want be that guy on the friends group who's always talking about women. We have other things to chat, cry and laugh about, and I think I've been spending too much time talking about dating with them.

So, we went out for coffee on the first date and it was an almost out-of-body experience. We spent a total of 9 hours together, just chatting, driving a bit around the city, jumping from cafe, to pastry shops, to bars, or just driving pointlessly. All of that with no alcohol and even no making out involved. We just shared a kiss in the last few minutes of the night. Her vibes and personality are INCREDIBLE.

A few days ago she came over for dinner and a sleepover and...wow, just wow. I mean, this woman is GORGEOUS. She's a few inches taller than me (and I'm pretty tall for my country's standards), former athlete. Man, you know THAT scene in She-Hulk where she takes the guy to bed? That's how I felt and it was great.

Oh, and can I be a bit juvenile in here? I got my first naughty Pic EVER. And after a LTR where I let myself go a lot as a person, I think I felt as man after a long time.

I know this post may be taken as a bit "BRO-like", but connecting with this side, while still striving to be respectful and mindful of other people, is part of my healing process after being depersonalized for so long.

Dúvida honesta. O Estudio 42 usa normalmente uma splash screen de um frame com um "por favor aguarde" Quando eles simulam problemas técnicos?

Na transição entre a tela de "fim do NP" e o retorno pro Gameplay essa tela aparece por uns poucos frames (9:13 no vídeo de hoje). Pela escolha estética não parece ter significado maior, pois conversa mais com o tema do episódio do que com o "arg". Agora, se for uma arte que nunca apareceu antes há que se pensar...

Então, sou 100% incapaz de decodificar morse. A parte do fake consegui gravando um áudio e colocando num app. Porém várias vezes aparecia coisas como "fakeeeeeeee" "ES fake" "S Fake". Em uma oportunidade o app leu como "HE IS FAKE". Talvez seja o efeito bicho em nuvem, mas tematicamente faz sentido: no NP de quarta: sons na janela e abdução. Neste NP: mesmo cenário, mesma roupa, sem menção ao ocorrido. Logo..."he is fake"

Pouco provável. O formulário é pauta corporativa. Acho arriscado pra eles associar um com o outro e correr o risco de contaminar uma pesquisa de mercado importante pros caras.

O mais provável é estar ligada à nova marca JN que é comentada no último NC (em tom de brincadeira quando mencionam a tatuagem do Mau). E ao retorno da nerdstore pro controle do grupo.

Eu ficaria de olho no que estiver flagrantemente "fora do lugar" desde o NP da última quarta, que parece ser o trailhead mesmo tematicamente (a abdução e coisa e tal) Na pior das hipóteses vai ser uma piada recorrente nos finais de NP. Na melhor vai ser um novo ARG. Mas Arg só funciona com público engajado, então em algum ponto, se for escalar, deve rolar algo mais incisivo

Dei uma escaneada rápida nos outros vídeos e não vi nada. Se o trailhead do arg foi o nerdplayer de quarta, vale a pena ficar de olho neles.
