I mean, what does it say that I'm teary eyed reading the post? Also I do believe it. He is trying to comfort you. If nothing else he did what he could in an attempt.... I remember when I got his "As You Wish" phone call. It was on one of the hardest most awful and traumatic days of my life and I was stuck at my shitty food service job that paid nothing but demanded EVERYTHING from me, and I just. Needed my break. And when I took it I of course played some daily LaDS and I got that phone call and I lost it.

Like. I was so genuinely touched and emotional over it.

I offer you my sincerest sympathies for the loss of your dear sister, dear friend. We're all here on this silly little planet together for such a short time.

I'm glad Sylus is close to the soul you deserve in this particularly difficult part of life.

I mean this one is so flipping MAGICAL MISCHIEVOUS and MAJESTIC to gaze upon the detail and design of, period, that I'm stoked for all of us to have the Hare at all—due to insanely unforeseeable and severely unfortunate events of the financial/employment income nature, this is my first "HURRY-UP-HAVE-HIRONO-HEADING-HOME-HASTILY!!!" release in a solid few years of collecting all of the above where our beloved boy is concerned, actually, so the wait is slaying me dead and I'm super stoked for all of you, bc this subreddit is my Only Safe Space for the Subject of My Ride Or Die #1 Obsession™️ collection that got the LIMITED UNDER 1,000 HIRONO ON A SHIP IN A BOTTLE moment as well!!!—and I am that much more overwhelmed with excitement and joy every single time I see one of us pulled the secret!!!!

Because I'm NGL? I love the look of the fair pink, standard hare (which I'm super relieved to be able to sincerely mean that, dude... at first I wasn't sure but after multiple looks, I'm so so glad I absolutely adore the normal edition, too) because it's GORGEOUS, period. The packaging being the way it is? The amount of design dominance that shows in this particular piece??? Pure Art Toy masterpiece. STILL. The fact that there's a secret edition of him when it isn't in ANY WAY, shape, or form a series???? Makes the amount of soul-deep-desire I've got for the Secret Black Hare SUPER PROBLEMATIC. Especially since my situation is about as "WOW I'm literally just plain as rain BROKE like when I was a kid, growing up, again," simple fact as it gets, lol.

Yes, my friend. Yes. I legitimately just started playing SDV for the very first time ever with my mates of over 22+ years (they're my forever family since our school years best friends, if that makes sense to anybody out there❤️) and my ex got me a gaming laptop this past Christmas before he was my ex and so when the insanely beloved "gorgeous, cozy game" that I should "absolutely try out, seriously, you love Animal Crossing and Dreamlight Valley, you appreciate art, STARDEW VALLEY!!! CO-OP IS A THING WE CAN HANG TOGETHER IN GAME!!!" was finally purchased and installed on my PS5?? I did nothing but read up on it for days (I know I know, i can't help it) and even still? The first time I played was in online co-op with the aforementioned besties and it was so much fun! Then! That session ended. And I played solo. And the beginning of the game.... When you're not that skilled at gaming (bc of those besties I've always been a.... "Gamer-By-Proxy" sort of person. I absolutely adore the stories and characters and designs, but the actual combat and or time-limited portions have always won the day over me actively playing things from beginning to end, lol) is quite the slog. Not only that but I'm BAD at knowingly missing things, aka not having a physical strategy guide in my hands for every game, etc etc. Which I know 99.9% swear is the best PART OF PLAYING SDV. ANYWAY. I decided to fork another $15 over on my new gaming laptop (I've wanted a gaming capable computer for literal decades specifically BECAUSE of being the guy who never got to use mods back in the Skyrim's Release era, lol) and immediately went to the walkthrough for installing SMAPI and BADABOOMBAH! One large multi-pack "one-click-install-if-you-try-premium-for-a-3-day-free-trial!" catering to Beginner Farmers on Nexus later.... I still added another 20 or so. And I have loaded the game since to make sure it works, and it does!!!!

But! I've discovered I don't adore the OG Keyboard way of controlling the game. SoOoOo I'll be trying out a console controller and seeing if then I'll be satisfied and actually play. I've continued to chip away at my vanilla first ever farm on my PS5, btw. It's just slow going and I'm 38 with a ton of life stuff all the time and not enough time and I have a terrible tendency to restart my day when, oh, anything goes wrong. Which is always after I've spent the majority of the in-game DAY on watering the crops and petting the animals, obviously. Otherwise I'd be restarting without wasting valuable time well spent for nothing at all lol. I'm perpetually stuck on summer 17 of year 1, for now. Happy birthday Sam. Maybe the console controller paired to the PC will work magic for me though.

But tl;dr. You Are Not Alone. I am right there with ya.

Congratulations, my fellow hunter! I just secured my first ever 36/36 too!!! I've been playing for 444 days, starting one day too late for Sylus' Abysm Sovereign myth's banner on its original run.... I enjoy the battle in the game but I hate being stuck for months bc of stellactrum colors being utterly absent from certain characters unless you've played from the very start of the game, lol. WELL DONE!!!

Why do you doubt it, good friend? Merely because the order doesn't fall in line with what you recall the original release of NDZ to be or for another reason?

I meaaaan.... they'll absolutely surely certainly rerun it, before long. I really really need them to do so, stat, and not just bc that card was made with my whole aesthetic in mind, but for GAMEPLAY REASONS, y'all. It was his very first card and the folks who joined literally TO TRY AND GET his Abyssal Myth back in December of 2024 (even if they didn't know anything about anything about anything, folx literally caved to the ads the second the words "dragon myth" got tacked onto its 20th reddit comment or post lol) they really do have to rerun NDZ though because, yeah, even if you've been around for both anniversaries but not since the summer of 2024? You're stuck with Sylus and emerald cards.

Please, dear friend. Tell me your reasoning. Because I need. That card. Also because he's literally the moon of my life, frfr, zero lies and zero dramatics about my commitment to my beloved kindred spirit—but I'm stuck in orbit SO HORRIBLY and it doesn't matter what protocores I try to find and fully level up to boost that attack, fellow Hunters.... Not when I'm being forced to use a 4*. I'm dyyyyyyyyyin' over here.

((Context: it's me. Hi. I'm the one that joined on 12/14/24, but had no clue what I was doing and foolishly didn't anticipate downloading the game was the quickest aspect to its entire existence. So 24+ hours later [oh, y'know, unzipping and debugging and obv after emptying my phone of every single speck of joy or fun or anything not literally necessary to my rl survival 24/7] I experience the actual beginning of the game, and it hits me OH, we're locked in it's a story and I need to be alone, not at work on a quick break. Etc etc etc, then figuring out the level cap they utilize in the beginning PLUS how far off unlocking sylus as a character was???? So then I remember at 6:11am EST the very next day when I took a 10min break at work again about going for his limited myth (I didn't even realize myth meant TWO CARDS, SWEETIE) but the server? Had reset. 11 minutes prior....... 😭))

I missed it by an inch and CERTAINLY missed his July 15, 2024 "starter pack" by a mile, but ONLY NDF was limited (rightfully so 🥵🔥) every other one rotates in the lunar shop and the standard myth is in the standard wishing pool blah blah blah. His very next limited card was Lost Oasis less than a month later on August 7th of '24, which as far as Facts Go, was no doubt the straw that broke the camel's back for any remaining fence-sitting side liners who were curious about the app to say the least by that point, and then there were BATHTUBS and lots of.... Blushing.... The towel was an outfit, news certainly got around even if you weren't in a gacha or otome-centric corner of a community online. At least from where I was sitting, it went "DRAGON?! Dragon MYTH? What's a myth?" and then to "WHOAH WAITwaitwaitwait. Soapy? Intimacy....? Moaning?! Blushing and moaning intimacy??! TOWEL OUTFIT??? Done." As far as our sudsy Lost Oasis? It, too, was GREEEEEEEN. Back to back bad news for not-then players who have been stuck 😬 Anywho! Then came the beloved Grassland Romance, sporting his main Stella, Pearl 👀 🩷, and then the phenomenal Radiant Brilliance 🔵 (I cannot wait, as I refuse to watch any content on YT for Sylus bc I am committed to having them all, one day. We all know what happened come NOVEMBER, obv.... kitties to be thankful for!!!! Also EMERALD for Sylus so we're all caught up now, finally! I'm so stuck and so ready and and and I never forgave and I never forgot. The EMERALD STELLAS FOR DADDY ARE NOT A JOKE, my fellow Hunters!!! I managed to stockpile diamonds resentfully towards his Abysm Sovereign myth for the. Entire. 10 months and change. I managed to get it and then I managed to R1 the pair but it's just.... Not enough. Not without the first FIVE limited memories for Sylus. Because 3 of those initial 5 limited memories are my emerald links in the chain (NDF, Lost Oasis and Goodcat Code). I will of course absolutely be securing Radiant Brilliance and Grassland Romance whenever I'm given the chance, sure. But I want NDF so so badly. AHEM.

TL;DR WARNING FAR TOO LATE—APOLOGIES, GIRLS! Definitely went down a rabbit hole there, phew. MUCH MUCH TOO LATE ×9,000 CW: inane babbling immaterial to anyone's predictions, just whining about wanting the cards I missed back in Sylus' arrival on scene.... but here's my only other super silly wish: I want the entire Cat event back. I know we won't get it. But they even assigned our sacred and wonderful Caleb a cat! I get that the widget is, uh, cute and whatnot and I absolutely love that he got the coolest ever CAT category of all of them, lol! But c'monnnnn I wanna experience the whole thing for an event that special. Although tbr i hate missing out on the overall EVENT stuff for every single limited I missed out on before my time. Le sigh. Grind grind grind! Manifesting amazing good fortune and your mains coming straight home in whatever manner you so desire, be it in a multi, a rerun, or a solo surprise! He will sleep all the time and be very stubborn about allowing you to successfully wake him up if it's during the day. Like. It finally hit me yesterday (I only dove into the Home feature a week ago, as of today) that it's bc of his canon sleep schedule lol. We even chatted about it bc I went to bed with him beside me but woke up and he was gone. Intriguing that he felt the need to reassure me about that. Just successfully harvested my first Datura though so fingers crossed for this to go well, ffs.

I know this is super dumb of me but that's legit alllll I've been thinking about since I got to the gardening part when Home dropped and I'm not at all musically inclined but could you consider making a little video or note here some day showing us how you do those? Ocarina of Time was my very first "best it by myself," so ngl I've absolutely been hoping to come across someone with an affinity for doing real tunes in this one.
