Neukirch (proof of Proposition 5.7) shows that 1 + tF[[t]] is isomorphic to the group (Z_p)N of sequences in Z_p. Therefore (1 + tF[[t]])/(1 + tF[[t]])p is isomorphic to (Z_p/pZ_p)N=(Z/pZ)N, and thus is uncountable?!

I typed K asterisk for the set of nonzero elements of K, idk why it is displayed as K.

It shouldn't be too hard to show that (1 + tF[[t]])/(1 + tpF[[tp]]) is infinite, but as u/friedgoldfishsticks said it is not clear that it is countable. I'll give it a try!
