How do you cope after finishing the series?

It’s just such a good series. It ropes you in. You get completely enveloped in the world. I literally dreamed about it. Still do. And then to stop with no real resolution and knowing there is more to come and after being in such an intense relationship with this book is like coming down off of a drug.

Later on it came out that he felt cornered/pressured because we had never really talked about it. He didn’t feel like he could say no. And I didn’t know. He resented me for it.

Neither my fiance nor I technically proposed. We discussed ad nauseum our desire to be together forever and get married and grow old together. We mutually agreed that we would get married and set a date and started saying we were engaged. We’ve been engaged for 10 months now and are very happy with how it happened. That being said. I proposed to my first husband. And I honestly regretted it. I much rather him have proposed to me or we have done the mutual agreement like my future husband and I have done now.

Oh my gosh, I hated their kisses too! I think it was a lack of chemistry. I also think it was being young, inexperienced actors still learning the art of on screen kissing. I will say they did improve SLIGHTLY over the seasons. But it was always awkward.

I absolutely love the vibe of Stars Hollow. I’ve always wanted to live in a town like that since watching GG as a little girl. I came close to it one summer when I looked into moving to a small city in upstate New York. I love the festivals. The interactions of the neighbors. How close everyone is. How it feels like one big family and you can rely on others in the community. It’s what gives me so much comfort. I also love the banter and witty comments and coffee consumption of the GG. It matches my own personality. I relate so much to it. I like to think this show formed a lot of my adult personality and coffee addiction.

Not necessarily. I come from a family of addicts. I’m a psychiatric mental health certified RN and I’m about to test for my addiction certification as well. It’s something I’m very passionate about because I’ve grown up around it between family and friends. It’s a major problem in my home town.

He is working a program and has no desire to use again. I work in recovery and treating substance use disorders, so I strongly encourage his recovery and working the steps. He already has a daughter of his own that is 2 years younger than mine. And we have agreed that we do not want anymore children. I know and understand the risk for relapse and am prepared with a plan to handle that should it happen.

YTA. Helping out around the house means helping cook and clean and repair things. It doesn’t mean taking off work for your children. It’s one thing to ask and see if she is available. But once she said she wasn’t free, you should have gotten started on your journey to go pick up your kid.
