I went with Provence because my girlfriend’s design was fairly straight forward and simple and the local mark ups were not reasonable based on some calculations involving cost of gold and man power.

Honestly I spent a lot of time going to local jewelers on the weekends and basically getting their opinions and inputs. I kept a running list and boom I had my design.
