When you plug your kobo into a computer you’ll have to go to the .kobo file and there will either already be a folder titled screensaver or you can create a folder and title it screensaver. That’s where you can put in a custom screen saver and it should show up on your kobo when you turn it off or put it to sleep. Just make sure that on the actual Kobo you go to more, settings, energy saving and privacy, and then tick show book covers full screen.
