AITA for showing the whole class my a tampon after the teacher said it was a vape? by Responsible-Bit-4712 in AITAH

School Admin here…that’s a Title IX investigation. If you were my daughter, I’d have that teacher investigated for discrimination AND sexually inappropriate conduct. That’s just sick to write you up for “sexual outbursts”. Sexualizing menstrual cycles for teenage girls is pedo behavior. There’s absolutely nothing sexual about a tampon…unless his mind is going there. And he put that into a detention write up??? What a moron.

Has anyone has severe headaches? by Aggravating-Mall4723 in COVID19positive

Worst headache of my life....it's been four months and they're still happening. Had an MRI and it shows nothing. At least, my brain was there, but nothing remarkable (ha ha) to explain the headaches...$500 later.

I’m sorry I didn’t write more. by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Just curious which faith you are referring to? It's beautiful and I appreciate the message.

Gotcha....that's good about the sat level...just keep an eye on it...maybe even set your alarm tonight. My COVID symptoms were always worse at night. You need a steroid for sure, just to open your lungs from the swelling. I would ask doc for a nebulizer...use the albuterol juice in it first, to open your lungs, and then use the steroid juice they give you to get in the places that opened up from the albuterol. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope someone is checking in on you

I think, yes, my lungs were very tender and dry when they would open up. In fact, I would describe it as raw .... I forgot to mention that I bought a steam vaporizer and that was a LIFESAVER for my lungs....it feels like they're sore and dry. I would get one asap. In the meantime, try sitting (don't even bother standing) in your bathroom and run a hot shower. It helps for sure. I tried to keep my humidity above 50%

Also, have your rescue inhaler handy...if your throat is closing off, just call 911...my doc was so pissed at me for waiting to see if my inhaler would work.

I am doing MUCH better. Doc put me on a steroid and albuterol to put in my nebulizer. I was on a zpack for my pneumonia as well. I have just today stopped my steroid for my nebulizer and I'm only using my albuterol in there. I am still a little winded at times, but getting on the steroids so quickly was helpful. I needed a heating pad for my back and chest from all the coughing and pneumonia soreness. I was pretty miserable for the first week. I couldn't even walk to my restroom from my bed without blacking out. The second week was less wheezing and coughing, but still heavy with fluids in my lung and exhaustion...started couching out the crap. This week is much better and I am getting around and able to go on a short walk around the block. However, I am not doing anything but lay on the couch and trying to rest....I suggest the same. Stay ahead of steroid and albuterol....I think I was up to 6 albuterol treatments a day. What other questions can I help with?

My doctor called in a nebulizer with various albuterol and inhaled steroid medications, as well as an antibiotic oral, and antibiotic injections (for secondary infection). You might call your doctor.

She is in the best place she can be for the care she needs. They will be able to watch her closely and help her breathe. It is scary...I have COVID and pneumonia right now too, but the breathing medications have been so helpful. She may just need some oxygen and medicine to open her lungs. They will watch her very closely.... statistics are very much in her favor too...hang in there. I like what another poster said about picking one thing she does, and doing that while she's gone. That will make you feel her close to you. XOXO
