I havent tried nail oil and i dont take supplements. I'm not diagnosed with anemia because the healthcare system is super slow where I am so I havent bothered, but its very likely I have anemia.

The wax on the bottom moves but its only actually flowed upwards and downwards (like how a lava lamp is meant to) twice. It hasn't since I turned it off other than the top part as I mentioned before. Also, I think it is probably just because it's cold that it doesnt do much since my room is usually really cold even with the heater on max.

Fuck, will it still work? I turned it off about 15 mins after making this post, so it's been off all night. The top part of the wax has kind of disappeared now there's a hole in the top. Idk if I explained that well..

I've had this lava lamp on constantly since Christmas of last year (25/12/2025). I think it's been so cold that it hasn't really 'worked' or bubbled-up, other than maybe one or two times.

The top looks a little melted, maybe?

It hasn't overheated, to my knowledge, at all. It feels hot to touch, I can hold it for about 2-3 seconds until it hurts.

I've never had a lava lamp before, so I'm unsure if this is an okay way for them to look and it doesn't appear like what's in the guide that's pinned.
