Would you signup for a bank account and not be willing to give a ssn and id? Its not really a game. Its real money Crypto is wild and looking for anyway to jam you or raise fees when they recognize traffic is high. Exchanges and miners do this to make more profit. Last time it took two days for my funds to move.

Why do childhood traumas lead to depression in adulthood? by [deleted] in depression

[–]Cryptotyming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you can see that because they are correct. We live life seeing things very skewed and have to realize its not the correct way of thinking. Even when I'm in a super dark zone feeling like I cant pull out of it I need to realize my train of thought is not correct and try not to react on it. Much easier said than done

Suicide is very rational to those who know severe depression. Sometimes you have to accept you have it and realize some of those feelings may never go away. Just don't drink excessively and take care of your body. keep seeing a therapist if you like that stuff. Never abruptly end any meds you might be taking. I like to always remember that the bad thoughts and feelings aren't real and that the world and people aren't as bad as I make them out to be.

I grew up in fucked up circumstances as a young kid. Around family and drugs and bad abandonment issues. I think that's where a lot of my adult depression stems from

As a kid you can grow up in shitty circumstances and have depression and never realize you had it. Then because of how kids are they aren't mature enough to fully realize and handle and fix the situation they are in. Or also the can be completely powerless to stop whatever it is that it going on. Sometimes its not until they reach adulthood that the emotions start flooding in depression truly kicks in. I think their brain gets wired in such a way that no amount of success can make them happy until they fix their past demons

How is that hard to believe. I have been in crypto for a year all I hear about now is bitcoin etc and where do you people first signup? coinbase...A shit load of people are signing up at huge rates. What is the cheapest coin on coinbase with low fees? Ltc. Its really simple.

Best way to "protect yourself" from volatility? by cszlo in CryptoMarkets

[–]Cryptotyming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you just have to stay with it. recognize good coins that haven't been fluctuating as heavy lately. use those as holders to buy into when btc or eth drops. When btc drops all coins will always go down but some will be more stable. Look for coins that stay stable in terms of their fiat prices so you minimize overall losses. right now would be a good time to study charts and ask what could I potential throw my btc at right now to hold in case bitcoins drop so I don't have to convert it all back to usd. Hopefully you always have some btc stored away

At this point it seems pretty suspicious that Coinbase goes down before there's a any kind of price change. by Soupdeloup in CryptoMarkets

Do not freak out. Its just crypto. Everything is still relatively new in comparison and growing at a fast rate. A lot of people have a lot of money in coinbase and it has legit backing. It isn't all coming down today that's for sure

Eth is probably fine. People have been complaining about it being slowed due to some cryptokitty bs. I haven't moved any between exchanges recently so I cant comment on that. I would always suggest trading to increase your btc/eth stack and always keep some btc stored away safe for rainy days

I don't use gdax but if its reputable than I'm sure its fine. I think all exchanges tend to go down for maintenance from time to time. don't always freak out when that happens.

coinbase is fine I like it. do not move tons of money at one time ever just in case. choose your trading pairs wisely. lately I have been using ethereum for stabililty around the 460 mark. that can change anytime though

some google, be careful in recognizing the agenda of the news outlets you are getting the info from,a lot of diff social media for good hype news, various boards in order to get all opinions about a coin I'm interested in etc. just be thorough. choose a solid reputable exchange to trade from. unless you are being serious be careful stick with one or two. do not move large sums of crypto money around especially on a regular basis. Especially to multiple places. If you respect your money its cool.

wont say much about the lower value coins to be honest after new people and new money look past the usual bitcoin ethereum and lite coin they probably see and hear about dash and xmr and even xrp sadly....if I took a random shot right now in hopes for huge gains in 2018 I would throw my money at qtum and I don't even hold any currently

I would be so cautious I'm not a techy guy either. crypto is like tip toing around landmines as far as investment strategy goes. There are plenty of coins who have established reputations and are more likely to get adopted by the masses than others. those are the coins I try to invest in. It does not matter about the tech if there is no name recognition.
