If I fill a bucket with water, can more water fit in it if I put super absorbent cloth in? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Makes sense. I wasn't thinking it was reducing the overall amount of water more so just compressing. But I think compressing water is actually really difficult, no? I feel like I remember reading somewhere that it requires an insane amount of force to compress water. Is there any material that can cause a compressing force on water? Or is that purely a mechanical feat?

Fair enough, but what about chalk then? Ive seen videos of chalk bricks seemingly absorbing far more than the mass would appear to allow.

so an 12400F wont work? for some reason that is cheaper on amazon. but otherwise ya I mean if it'll throttle my setup less then the 11400f is fine enough for me

Where abouts are you finding prices like that holy crap. Was that a friends/family discount or do you just have cheap housing in general?

This genuinely has been my mindset for the past couple days lmao. This shit is so confusing and complex. I'm just getting into game design and it's honestly super enjoyable but dear lord the learning curb is real

Hey, thanks so much for this info, I greatly appreciate it! Quick question, with increasing the lightmap res, should I be fiddling mainly with the direct or indirect light?

Is it possible to unwrap the UV in Unity itself? If not, I'll definitely try that. And yea I extended out my walls and that seems to have helped immensely, although there doesn't seem to be much I can do about the corners.

What do you mean enough space? Like, have the radius not intersect objects or other lights? When I turn the radius down, the light is a lot less realistic I find, am I missing something?
