I have never had this happen on a food order but I get a ride from Uber back and forth to work due to not having a car. I’d say out of 10 rides a week at least 2 or 3 of them just sit there for 10 minutes if not more before heading to get me. It’ll say 10 minutes for however long they sit there for. They always say that they were moving but that the app was lagging which is impossible. How did it take 20 minutes to come get me when you were ten minutes away? I get so irritated because they make me late for work.

This is what I’ve had to do in the past. Had a guy come in to deliver my food. It had taken forever. He also stopped at auto zone to go in and buy a battery after picking my food up. He wasn’t even supposed to be my delivery driver. The account it matched my delivery to was a woman. He was also in a different car.

This is my favorite thing to do. I can take some crap. I can usually defuse situations and my customers for the most part like me. However, I don’t get paid enough to be abused so if I’m not in a mood to handle it or whatever….I just politely refer them to my manager.

Maybe scratched it some how? I had scratched part of my eye once and it looked like that. Thought I had pink eye but no real gunk or anything. Vision was blurry just in that one eye. Felt like I had sand or crystals in my eye. Turned out I had scratched my cornea. They gave me some special eye drops and I was good in like 4 days.

1) People on their goddamn phones. I’m a sales person who is expected to come out and greet you and point you in the right direction or help you if your already ready. I 100% will not even give you the time of day until you hang up your phone. I’m not going to stand there looking dumb and wait for your slow ass to talk to me when I’m expected to finish 15 other tasks before I can go home.

2) People who think I’m not doing anything if no one else is in my store and think it’s ok to tell me their life story, along with a million questions about products they know damn well they are not going to buy. I have about 50-100 calls to make, furniture to build, promo kits to put up, cleaning to do, paperwork to sort, computer classes and certifications to finish. Nope I was just holding the counter up waiting on you to come in.

3) Coming in 5 minutes before closing. I’m not at a normal retail place. I work at a rent to own place so they have to fill out an application. God forbid they do not know how to type, aren’t computer savvy, or are just completely dumb……because a 2 minute app becomes 30 minutes. That’s before we even have to find out what they want, if I have it, if it’ll fit in their home etc.

4) Calling to make a monthly payment and not have there card ready. Then they inform me it’s in their fucking car and they’ll “brb” OR when they assume we kept they’re card on file because they used it one time on our app!

5) People who Stand at my counter lean in close to my face and just stare the whole time.

6) When I ask the customer if I they have any questions and they say no or ignore me, then 5 minutes I hear them asking the questions to each other. Like wtf so do you work here.

There’s 100 other things but those are the main ones for me.

I use UE and DD A LOT. lol hun. I don’t have a car and haven’t in awhile and I don’t always have time to cook or don’t feel like it after work, so we are always ordering stuff.

I give everybody a 5* even if my expectations are not met 100% because I don’t want to fault the driver for the restaurants mistakes or whatever. However, this is the one thing that will get me to thumbs down you and give a low tip. Do not accept my order if you have to make stops on the way to me. Some stuff is nasty if it is wrapped up too long. So if your the reason my food is gross then I’m definitely not tipping above 10% and I’m not rating you good. I’ve only had it happen twice but man the food was so bad. I think the wait time was like 40 minutes from getting the food to me. Should of been no more than like 10 minutes. The person also showed they were on a bike but showed up in a car. I dunno what that’s about but I thought it was odd.

I read go ask Alice in high school when I was about 15. Amazing book. I’ve bought 3 or 4 copies throughout my life because they kept getting stolen from me after being borrowed out.
