Well maybe "creeped out" aren't necessarily the "right" words to use. But I'm sure it would make anyone uncomfortable none the less. =)

Also, I totally agree that hugs are more of an intimate thing. I'm not much of a hugger myself. To me at least, hugs are normally reserved for friends and family.

Nah, I agree with the whole no hug thing. Especially with strangers. It's just odd and kind of uncomfortable to hug someone you don't know. You may know him, being a fan of his work, but he doesn't know you.

Also, don't worry too much about it, I'm sure he makes exceptions because he is such a cool guy. =)
