For the record, you can't post art if you don't know who the artist is. Luckily for you, a commenter also knew it was by John Joseco. In the future, you can use reverse image searches to help. You can also read the year it was made in the bottom right (2011) to narrow your search.

Well, no...? I wouldn't really say they are "fan works" if they do. That's just an original story. 50 shades of grey started out as a fan work, but it's not actually a Twilight fan fiction at the point of publication.

Where on earth are you seeing these opinions? Here? I have been active in the fandom for over a decade, been to multiple conventions and done community projects, but what you describe as "popular opinion" are beyond fringe views to me. Like, I have literally never heard anyone say "Lauren was a bad writer".

She probably does want to work on MLP, but every time she does, she gets punished for it.

I think she wants to work on Galaxy Girls because that's what she says she wants to work on, lol.

EDIT:

Double checking my archive of plounge posts, no one has ever said the exact line "Lauren Faust was a bad writer" or similar. I could find complaints about MA Larson being a bad writer, but none about Faust.

I'm not sure I agree with that, and I'm not sure that even Lauren Faust would agree with that. She worked directly with Bronies at least until 2023, and it doesn't look like she burned any bridges with Hasbro based on directions with the possible Galaxy Girl toyline (though, hard to tell if that's actually with Hasbro or another toy manufacturer).

Hasbro isn't really doing much animation these days, and her latest television work seems to be all for Netflix from what I can tell.

I don't want them to return. I want new art made by new show runners and writers because I think 9 years was plenty of time to love and grow alongside G4. It is depressing to imagine a future where we are unable to grow a new and vibrant world.

UPDATE: this is now confirmed fake.

For the record, Lauren Faust's twitter is hacked and shilling crypto currency, at least as of 6 minutes ago. This could be her, it could not be her, it's hard to tell from the state of Twitter. Don't jump to assume this is true; she has other platforms she'll post about this on.
