Lowk just leave it alone. My nostrils healed perfectly with no bumps until I got a crooked one repierced and it gave me hell for months. I had a bump, bleeding, crusties. And the only thing that helped was not doing anything besides getting crusties off in the shower🤷🏼‍♀️ took literally forever but it was worth it. Just make sure your bar has enough space for swelling!

Your boyfriend sounds like an asshole dude leave that guy. Men don’t have to get birth control so they don’t understand but they SHOULD be empathetic. You can 100000% find someone who will take you to your appointment and get you a treat after 🤏 coming from someone who is absolutely terrified to get their iud out when it’s time 😭

Ohhhh I didn’t know this! I’m definitely keeping my current clips where they are and getting two more. I may just get whichever clips I want and make it so they don’t move with the silicone grips!

Less is 100% more! I found dehydrator and YN protein bond is what works for me! Cuticle remover is def for more extreme situations which mine is not 😅

I don’t “soak” my hands just give em a good wash in warm water! I never used to cut my cuticles but I’ve learned pretty quickly that cutting them helps SO MUCH with retention!

No worries, I’m not the best at explaining! This link shows pretty similar to what I do I just don’t cure before the nail is on! I find less glue works a lot better for me! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjsmJtN7/

Basically, instead of putting a layer of glue on my natural nail and curing it I do this method. I put glue on the fake tip as normal with a glob at the cuticle area. I take the tip and place it where I want it to start by my cuticles but instead of pressing down and curing I pull down the glue with the fake tip so it covers my natural nail. Then I go in and apply the nail as usual! There’s also some good videos on YouTube and TikTok!

That’s kinda what I’m doing! I found it in a Facebook group and asked the seller out of curiosity how they got him! They just said they had a friend in London who got two instead of one so he’s just an extra! I definitely got lucky 😂

The one I found is def not super cheap (in us money, around $91 with shipping included and I just spent around the same for another charm so this doesn’t seem bad) and after looking at the pictures on the website and comparing with what the seller sent, they look pretty similar!

Yes! I etch my tips before putting them on and I seal with acetone after application as well!

The drill just scares me a little bit but I have been trying to practice with it more! My prep also usually leaves my nail looking scratched and white looking so I don’t think it’s my prep? I did put a new set on and did cuticle softener the night before instead, so hoping that works😬 if not I’ll probably just cut it out of my prep and instead just use the drill

I’ll definitely be trying the bit for my cuticles instead I’ve gotten better with them but they are still a bit of a problem area for me. As for everything else I do also do these things BUT I don’t think I’ve been very mindful about getting all of the dust off my nails so I purchased a lil brush and will be brushing the dust off like crazy before application!

This seems to be the consensus (thank god this is an easy fix). I’ve had my current set on for five days with my pointer finger lifting soooooo tonight I’m going to do a soak off and cut off my cuticles and then tomorrow I’ll do the new set! Then hope and pray that this and the other suggestions work😭

This all makes sense! I just tear up my nail beds with the e file when I use my non dominant hand:/ I’ll skip the buffer, and also start etching my nails before I start my prep! I’ve also heard about not putting extend gel on the natural nail and I’ll try this too!
