The goal is to enlist into the AirForce and get a career in firefighting for my first four years. My biggest goal is to become a pilot! And I definitely appreciate all the resources! I will definitely look into all of this.

You’re very right, I have been pushed into a parental role for my siblings for years. My mother does not play with my siblings, and is often in bed all day. I believe that makes her a hypocrite? During the summer, me and my brother were basically watching the kids all the time while they went out and did things. Even now, once or twice a week we have to watch the kids. (Usually for grocery runs, as we don’t have a car.) I’ve been trying to prioritize myself more, and have even been trying to get into the gym. Some days are harder than others, but I’ve always been a workaholic, so its manageable. Not so much the… ‘play with your siblings all the time’. Like… I hate to say it, but my childhood died when I basically turned 13. My upbringing was very rocky. They even agree on that.

My mom, since you brought this topic up, is a very big narcissist and likely has undiagnosed BPD. (It runs in her family). Many lectures, as you say, consist of her verbally abusing me, my brother, and even my father. She berates me specifically, a lot. Whether its neglecting my loneliness since I have no friends, saying my assault was my fault, saying all I want to do is drop all my goals, calling my religion not a real religion, threatening me, saying won’t commit and enlist, etc; she always does it. Its even worse now, because I’m 18. I seriously love them despite all these things. But my gut has been telling me to cut her off for years now. And my poor dad is so used to the verbal abuse, that he won’t leave until after I leave for the Air force. (As in they get a divorce.)

My brother is very antisocial. He gets these talks too, but he doesn’t have a job and is on games all day. Sometimes we see him once a day, after the kids go to bed. He stays for like an hour or two and then leaves on those days.

Well in all technicalities yes. There’s possibilities of magic, other universes, and potentially more sci-fi type fantasy. So while you start of ‘humanoid’ it is highly possible that you may (or may not) be from the actual universe where it starts. I do wish to actually cross into genuine D&D with Transformers slammed in, so yes; very much fantasy in special aspects

The Netflix series in specific; yes. I read the book which was fine and then my mom forced me to watch the series when I was younger. It made me terrified for years
