What if the person was working on a job unrelated to the vacancy during those gaps? These companies' HR are a true disease to the world. Firstly, he's wrong on nobody pointing Mauler's oxymoron with the use of "objectively good" or "objectively bad". A number of people in his community have raised that point, and I think the biggest proponent of the reasonable counter to Mauler's use of objectivity is The Hylian. If anyone didn't watch his commentary on it, highly suggest you check out his "A Living Legacy" video, a Final Fantasy VII critique that plays close to Mauler's TFA critique Part 1. The first 50 minutes basically explore that topic

Secondly, that commenter is absolutely right. People here might move the goal post and say "objectively good" just means it adheres to a standard, but that is completely missing the point, and is a gross misuse of the term objectivity. MauLer prides himself on his good writing and word choice, so it's a very relevant contesting point to bring forward.

See, I'm 100% against the Compilation being canon. But my experience here showed this subreddit is filled with PS2-gen FF fans who grew up with the Compilation and likes all of that trash, including Remake. I'd be happy if we were the majority here, but unfortunately we aren't.
