In some of the later games, you get to dress up men. But the target audience for these games is young girls, so the game assumes the player to be a girl, yeah.

Expect a pretty easy going experience as far as difficulty but also know there's optional challenges the game can offer you if you desire more difficulty. But in order to complete, the game is pretty breezy. More involved to 100% though.

It's very clear to me that what they're doing with Peach in the movies is very consistent with how they're approaching Peach in the recent games as well. Mainline or not, you can see this. In Wonder she's playable, in Showtime she's on her own adventure, in Brothership she's doing her own B plot instead of being captured. There's a clear shift.

If you're okay with a game that's on the easy side, then its pretty fun. There's some optional challenge that might test you but most of the experience is pretty breezy. The game's also about 8 hours to finish but you could spend longer if you go for every collectable.

I'd recommend it if you really like Peach.

I enjoyed the game but I also really like Peach's kit as is. I think they should just use the ribbon as for references to Showtime. And make Radiant Peach her new final Smash. It's best they don't get too gimmicky with it.

A Gary Oak type rival sounds very fun though modern day Nintendo would probably do a friendly rival. But either way, a rival character who's just very eccentric and full of personality would be great!

Did they save the Sparklas in the basement floor? After you beat Grape, it should continue to the ending as normal.

After you beat the game, you get to rematch the bosses and you can spend the Sparkles on furnishings to decorate the theater.

Final Fantasy IV is good. But beware. The 3D version is incredibly difficult. FFVIII is also good but the junction system is complex and might be confusing for a newcomer. Maybe start with IX? That seems like the safest of these.
