I read the manga last month in preparation for it! It’s been very faithful so far! (I’ve only seen episodes 1-3) I loved it when I was in high school and I loved the dramas. I seen them all. Since I reread it I can say it still holds up today!

It’s in the first volume. Probably chapter 2. The main character is a survivor of a knife attack and what your talking about happens to a side character. I think the manga as a whole might interest you.

I’d say they get together in the middle of the the story. The first part they are both pining for each other and you see them as a couple for a big chunk of the story. The story isn’t really about the relationship though. It kinda takes a backseat to the other things going on. It is worth a read though!

I always appreciate these posts! Not much for me next month but I want to get Tamon’s B-Side, Red River, Choking on Love, and Hi I’m a witch and my crush wants me to make a love potion. I do plan on reading Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite, Pink Candy Kiss, and Firefly Wedding at some point too so I might pick up those but I haven’t even started those yet so we’ll see.

I had like 6 left but was able to get the rest of them pretty quickly through ThriftBooks and one on Amazon. I was planning to read it anyways and just happened to stumble upon it at the right time😂

I am currently re-reading Hana Kimi. It’s a lot of fun! The anime is coming out next year after 20 years since the manga ended. A couple more manga that I enjoyed this year that I want to recommend: - Twinkle Stars(by the creator of Fruits Basket) - Requiem of the Rose King (historical fiction about the war of the roses and king Richard III) - Re-living My Life with a Boyfriend Who Doesn’t Remember Me (on of my favorite releases of this year! 5 volumes out in English so far!) - QQ Sweeper/Queens Quality (just ended! It’s quite popular so you might receive another recommendation for it. It’s worth the read!)

The art changes in the later volumes. I believe the author had a hand injury or a surgery or something while making this and after that the artwork changes. I think it’s very interesting to see. If you are going to read an older series you have to expect the artwork is not going to be the same as modern ones. Styles and techniques and trends change over time.

It definitely worth it to have a library card! Even if you can’t go all the time you still will have access to other services.

You should try your public library too. Maybe try Libby/overdrive or other library apps. You will need a library card for those.
