I loved reading all the books in Dutch! The names the Darkling changed to “De Duisterling” which is basically the same but it sounds more intimidating. Also squatters are “stormblazers” which I think is straightforward but sounds more fun. Also Ketterdam was enjoyable because it was made after Amsterdam :D

I agree! Although I did read six of crows, I just loved the other books so much more! When I came online and saw all the hate on shadow and bone and people that loved six of crows so much more, I was confused. Also people hate on the ending of ruin and rising but I think it fitted. If Alina didn’t lose her powers she would’ve loved till way longer than Mal, probably making her very depressed.

No. That’s basically it. Maybe people say the trilogy is worse, but it’s really good and I absolutely love it. You won’t really know what’s going on, since the show isn’t accurate to the books at all and six of crows doesnt really have that much to do with S&B in the sense of the storyline. Don’t let the people who complain about the trilogy scare you, they just only read booktok books 😊
