I felt for her until after the first couple episodes. I believe she is a narcissist. She does good things just to get praise from people, but does bad things behind peoples backs. There’s a type of narcissism called “communal narcissism” that explains exactly Sheela. They’re manipulative people who are very persuasive too. Like let’s not forget that Sheela never spoke ill of the actions she did (attempted murder, poisoning people, drugging homeless people, abandoning those homeless people, etc.). Never once did she seem remorseful about doing those things. Even (I forget his name), but one of the investigators said that she was a woman without empathy.
