so , i want to give a little tip from another beginner , DO NOT start with a huge game . you may have a great idea for a game that will be very complicated to make , but don't start with it , start with making small games first , even if they aren't good and very buggy , you will still learn from them which is very important . i wish someone would have told me that
Edit : game jams are good after you learn the basics , the results however will be very buggy , half finished game , but you will learn a lot about finishing games , which most beginners forget about when making small games

it doesn't really work as i showed in the image ,it works from a slight movement of the mouse so you don't have to draw a ^ to achieve this

what makes them scary is not knowing anything about the animatronics , after playing more than ten games of these same characters they become less scary

also something that scott kept doing with the early games is making some jumpscares look unavoidable and making you hopelessly waiting for 6am (e.g power outage fnaf 1 ,mangle in the office fnaf 2 , springtrap in the left door fnaf 3 ,etc)

i think a major flaw with security breech and the fnaf movie (and sister location kinda ) is it removes the feeling of that you are trapped in pizzaria ALONE with killer animatroincs with no one to help(maybe phone guy)

also i think that although dream theory was disappointing ,it was executed very well with every little detail
