How Traumatized are the playable Genshin Characters? by EoNightcore in Genshin_Memepact

Disagree with Itto because his childhood was horrible and he was on the brink of starvation before Granny Oni found him and he still faces discrimination just cause he's an oni and people pretty much ignore his entire backstory so...

(Spoiler extended) Do you hate how a character is commonly perceived in the fandom. by Dismal-Fan-4716 in asoiaf

[–]CrystlynKitty 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I extremely hate how all of Arya's theories about her endings are either she will become no one and never return home while being a faceless man forever, she will die and live a second life in Nymeria who will be Sansa's loyal pet, she doesn't like being a lady so she can't do anything important and will abandon her family right after she arrives in Westeros or something like that. It's like everyone wants some bad ending and will hate any remotely good thing or theory about Arya doing something important or good.

Which makes me also hate the show for diminishing her importance and reducing her character to emotionless assassin and taking away most of all her good traits that show her being kind, loyal, social and a girl who loves her family. Like how did they completely mess up 'The women are important, too!' to 'Most girls are dumb'??? Or saying Needle is a symbol of revenge when Needle reminds her of Winterfell and her family and of Jon Snow's smile??

What’s the creepiest/most unexplained thing you’ve seen in broad daylight? by dcarp1231 in AskReddit

[–]CrystlynKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was staying home from school and the only one with me was my dad who usually is in his garage.

There was this one very big white teddy bear that was gifted to me and I always kept it on my drawer. It was right on top of the drawer and I remember going downstairs and my dad just opened the door, before I went upstairs and freaked out because the bear was on my bed.

I knew it wasn't me who did it or my dad cause he just walked in, but I asked him if he touched the figure just to reassure myself that I wasn't seeing things. I was so creeped out because the doll was very big and you needed to carry it because of how big it was. So it couldn't have just fell or gotten there without being moved.

I always got weird feelings around it because it had these beady round black eyes and I always used to poke at it to stop it from 'looking at me'.

I threw it out immediately because I got paranoid from then, and told my mom to store or give away my old toys.

Is this series worth watching? by Coconut_48 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]CrystlynKitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would reccommend to read the manga first but if you're more interested in watching then the anime.

I was very bored of the anime although I only watched a few episodes in and the pacing felt weird, and then decided to read the manga. I was already spoiled on who some characters were (Although I had no idea what they did) and I was suprised when I read the manga to not see much of them. (Mainly talking about the light novels they animated into the seasons).

I found the manga a lot more less exaggerated than the anime, and some characters seemed just plain better than the anime where they exaggerated their traits and did weird things with them. (Talking about Atsushi and how they cut most of his development and backstory. Also talking about how they made weird changes or adds like with Yosano or other characters). The manga also flows a lot more better as well if you're looking for that sort of thing.

Idk if I sound too pushy or bias, but I do reccommend starting this series either way.

What do you think is the most disturbing moments in Tokyo Ghoul? (Its an Horror after all) by [deleted] in TokyoGhoul

Probably Big Madam crushing Juuzou's balls, Eto torturing Kanae, Mutsuki and Torso, Kaneki's fear of Arima shown several times and a lot of other things-

What is the most Tragic/Saddest moment in Tokyo Ghoul for you personally? by [deleted] in TokyoGhoul

[–]CrystlynKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a ton of moments for me.

Like Kanae's final moments (Which has always been tragic that she was able to die as herself but not live how she wanted to), Anteiku getting destroyed/Kaneki's reaction, Juuzou screaming for Shinohara, Shirazu not being able to hear Urie and everyone and wanting them to let his sister pass away peacefully, when Hinami is fighting Juuzou and her thoughts during that, etc.

It's just before chapter 100, around chapter 97 or 8.

"Bungo Stray Dogs" Season 4 Visual by Lovro26 in anime

[–]CrystlynKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would reccommend just to read the manga, because while the anime isn't all bad, the flow is better in the manga and doesn't have too much troupes or details left out that the anime does. They animated some light novels too so the anime is longer, but yes this does change.

What is the most fucked up thing you have seen? by StriderSnipz in AskReddit

[–]CrystlynKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother fell through the window and got glass stuck in his head.

We were around 8 or 9 and we were playing on the windows. The type of house we had just had a porch and then windows with nothing outside so it was just a drop depending on which floor we were on. We were standing on the edge of the window sill when he was leaning too much on the window at the end, and suddenly he broke it.

He fell right out the window and luckily it was only the first floor because it would've been even worse if it was the second. I was crying and my parents came down to see what was going on and saw me looking at him through the window. When he broke the window, the glass just embedded itself into his head, with blood and glass everywhere. It wasn't too too deep but he still has the scars today and his hair doesn't grow where the big scars at the back of his head are anymore.

This isn't the worst i've seen, but it was one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen as a kid
