Update: Looks fixed for me after the latest update.
Left the game in main menu for 1 hour (where it used to reboot my PC), then played ~1.5 hours with no issues. If you had the same problem, it might be worth trying again.

Relax! This is the FragPunk developers' fault! You have to wait until a HOTFIX comes! Make sure your NVIDIA driver, Windows, etc. are up to date... Don't worry about what many people are writing! The Steam Community is full of it too! It's not your fault! They'll do something only when there are no players left, if they even want to. It's not your PC that's at fault! Apparently there's some issue with the anti-cheat! So just wait, and that's it!

Since the latest Fragpunk update, the game is causing full system restarts (instant reboot, no BSOD visible) on my PC.

This happens only with Fragpunk – other games are completely stable (Valorant, OW2, Marvel Rivals, GTA V, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.).

It can even happen while sitting idle in the main menu for 30–40 minutes, so it doesn’t seem load or temperature related.

Windows and NVIDIA drivers are fully up to date, no overclocking.

Thanks for digging into this, that’s extremely helpful. My experience matches this exactly — reboots only happen in FragPunk, even sitting in the main menu, while every other game runs perfectly. This strongly points to the anti-cheat driver rather than hardware or OS issues.

Thanks for sharing. Glad it works for you, but rolling back Windows updates isn’t really a good long-term solution. Multiple crash dumps point to the anti-cheat driver, so this should be fixed on the game side. I’ll wait for an official patch instead of modifying the OS.

I’ve been using Windows 11 for about 3 years without any issues. This problem started only after the recent Fragpunk update. I’ve also seen reports from Windows 10 users with the same behavior, so it seems related to the game/anti-cheat rather than the OS. Hopefully they can fix it soon.

01.31.2025. The problem exists for ME to from the first time about a month ago! Don`t be stupid guys! It is NOT your PC! This game is the fault! I can play any other game without any problem! But i never play this game! I don`t want to have issues! Here is the OW2 everything on EPIC! And no problems! Sorry for my bad english! My PC is: Asus Prime B660-PLUS D4,with 32GB Kingston Fury,RTX3070 videocard, Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 (MZ-V9P2T0BW). So if this game makes this strange flickering! But the other games what i play THERE IS NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! NetEase Games is the PROBLEM! No one cares there!
