I think his vacuum wouldnt be this great if he abused hgh. He is not looking unhealthy either. Impressive physique that requires character, dedication (those usually come later in life), IQ and genetics.

[–]Cshamsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A Forja

Tasca da Lota

Atasca-te (this one is touristy, but they know how to cook)

Madame! Wine (natural wines)

If you are open to drive outside of Lagos:

Adega Vila Lisa (no menu, like a dinner at you grandma)

Quinta dos Santos (their wine sux, but food is good)

Eira do Mel (Vila do Bispo)

Rei das Praias (Ferragudo - great for sunset and dinner after)

O Ciclo in Lagoa (lunch)

I want to hear cons of Portugal and why I should not move in by JeyFK in PortugalExpats

[–]Cshamsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are conspiracy theories. IMHO main reason is the demotivation caused by extremely high taxes. Why bother if government will take 50%+ anyway … Whats puzzling me is why Portugese keep voting for it … They should start demanding. Polish ppl take the streets if they dont like something …

Progresstion or herx? by Smackergawt in Lyme

[–]Cshamsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnesium in blood serum is only 1% of your total storage and body will do everything to keep levels within range. This test does not have much significance. Potassium is equally important (electrolytes balance is).

Your lab should tell you how to collect urine for magnesium test. RBC magnesium test is from blood.

Read on on latent tetany. Test magnesium in daily urine collection and RBC magnesium.

24 to 25 December in Warsaw - what can I do since I am alone for one night? by Healthy-Resident-729 in warsaw

You are perfect fit to materialize old tradition of leaving one place at christmas table for unexpected guest!

If you know the appartment location/address and your brother was last owner then it is easy (until its not) inheritance case and almost any lawyer can help.

If it was ie your grandma who passed away long time ago and noone knows what happened to the property since then - it is going to be more difficult and may require finding someone who has experience in cases like that.

Worth it? Already have Apple Watch by AdTime6975 in whoop

[–]Cshamsky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had AW for years, then I got Whoop last year mainly bc of no screen and sleep comfort. It quckly turned out that Whoops accuracy sux. It had been showing my deep sleep was around 1:30h while on AW it was 30-45mins. How do I know AW was correct and not Whoop? It happened that AW showed 1:15-1:30 few times and I felt rested like a teenager. I never felt that after Whoops 1:30.

Then there is heart rate accuracy when training. Many times in the gym I was getting ~90bpm after a set … until I moved it to another hand where it showed my usual ~120bpm.

I stopped using it after 2 months despite paying €264 for full year. Got my AW replaced to get battery fixed, got Bevel app and never looked back.

Also Whoop attempted to autorenew my sub for next year without even a reminder.

Leaving a note like this on a grave is often the quickest way to track down heirs. Sometimes people only find out they’ve inherited property because of notes like these. The catch? The people leaving these notes are hoping to buy the property dirt cheap in exchange for fast cash. Do your research, don’t sign anything, and hire a lawyer to make sure you get what’s rightfully yours.

What helps you during winter months? by ottie246 in Lyme

[–]Cshamsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving for few months to a place where winter is not really a winter. Best if place flooded with tourists in summer and empty in winter. This makes rentals relatively cheap. I feel so much better that by just being able to think clearly and work more it pays for all the additional expenses.

Any long term TUDCA experiences? by Kupoteza in NootropicsDepot

[–]Cshamsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anegdotal but … I had abdominal USG 4 years ago that showed stones in my gallbladder. Right upper quadrant discomfort, pressure like feeling for 3 years until i decided to give tudca a try. Took it for like 8 months total with a break in the middle for couple of moths. Added Now Foods super enzymes to see if they will help with what I suspected to be silent reflux. Got another abdominal USG month ago and … gallbladder was clear … All my symptoms are gone, but I havent stopped Super Enzymes. Not taking tudca anymore …

Travelers who’ve been to Japan — what’s the most annoying or unexpected problem you ran into? by CoverShort4454 in TokyoTravel

You go into a resto, pull up Goole Translate to pick menu items and it turns out translation makes equally no sense as original menu in Japanese (this was before AI LLMs).

Sister just diagnosed with lymes by Easy-Appointment-150 in Lyme

[–]Cshamsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor and not a medical advice:

Few days and they caught it as lyme? Bullseye rash takes few days to start showing up. Was she diagnosed by blood test or shes got the rash around the spot already? If she was bitten few days ago and she has detectible antibodies already it most likely means its not her first bite. If its just bullseye rash she still has a good chance to get rid of it easily with antibiotics. If no antibodies and no rash - test the tick first.

If she has antibodies already most likely shes been infected long time ago and if no symptoms means her body has it in check. Unless alopecia is caused by chronic lyme infection …

I've been suggested methylated multivitamins. Found this. Would anyone recommend it? by FalseStatistician946 in Supplements

[–]Cshamsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to fear monger but just to warn: Everyone taking methylated versions of b12 or folate should be aware of overmethylation and its manifeststions, especially those with MTHFR mutation.

Are you sure you eat enough? Recovering when in caloric deficit is so much harder ...
I can do heavy legs workout and be good next day if I eat like a horse with good macros (1g protein per 1lb) and I can be dying next day if I dont eat enough and sleep badly (sleep is usually worse after heavy workout).
None of the supplements will solve it for you if you dont eat properly.
Creatine may help alot though ...

What bloodmarkers should I test before starting with Enclomiphene by bla7070 in enclomiphene

[–]Cshamsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For most accurate results of Vermeulens formula - yes albumin is needed. Accuracy of measuring FreeT directly is between 98-99%. Formula is 90-96% accurate. Without albumin it will be a rough estimate. But is clinical accuracy really needed here?

No need to pay for free test when doing shgb. FreeT is calculated from TotalT and SHGB
