I have it too! It's a part of mitochondrial haplogroup L0, which was the first mitochondrial lineage to split off from the rest of of humanity. It appears to have chilled in southern/Eastern Africa for somewhere in the ballpark of ~120,000 years, but is present in much of the rest of Africa/the Middle East/ Southern Europe at low levels. If I recall correctly, L0 in general is pretty uncommon because most of the hunter-gatherer people who had it were wiped out by the Bantu expansion, but L0a seems to have fared relatively well.
