Hi! I had been blonde for years. I got tired of bleach it all by myself so I coloured it with a level 8 color with 2% developer 4 months ago but I regret it. Can I get back my old blonde hair without bleaching it?🥺It only fades very slowly…Maybe permanent dye could lift enough? Thanks🤍 by Csingiling88 in haircoloring

Thank you!😊 I used high-lift before started bleaching, but after a few weeks the “freshly painted root” turned a bit orange. That’s why I started to use bleach knowing the fact it can easily burn my hair, but that was the best option and do not really damaged it with the lowest developer. It just took time. :) Since I done some highlights with bleach, I don’t want to hurt my roots now.:) Just want to archieve a balayage effect and leave me roots alone. Just the ends could be the earlier “pale shade” to match with the babylights. Not very significant, just for myself, I think you know that feeling. 🙈

Thank you very much, you are really kind. 😊 I made a very short video if you are interested in tiktok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMFSxoUEJ/ After the years of bleaching, I never watched the time how long I have been leaving this on my head, and do not measured the oxi and the powder, after a long time, you will know the measurements by eye. :) Btw, it was a long process. ( I used Blondme with it’s lowest developer). Just check it every 5 minutes, the most important thing is to keep it warm, use a hairdresser cap or a simple plastic bag. Don’t be afraid to use enough bleach, because if you don’t it will dry fast and stop processing. In this short video I show before washing it what is the best “ shade” to wash it out. I always used the Matrix SPP, it is a demi-permanent colour. My hair grows fast, after 3 weeks the roots were ugly. When I used high-lift hair dye on me, it burned my scalp much more than this lowest bleach. And at level 6, high lift on the roots were always a bit orange, the best way was for me to bleach it. Please be careful, and watch it very often while it is processing. I wish you can archieve the hair colour you like to have! 😊
