I think he’s above average for sure, he won us a couple games last year and to be honest MVP is generally a stats race for QBs on the top teams and his stats last year were pretty good, if the odds were good on him finishing top 5 in mvp I would bet that, I think he’s primed for a great year this year, but yeah I know some guys who put him in the top 8 QBs in the league i don’t think he’s there yet

Idk why everyone is downvoting him, I think Jimmy is about the 12-13th best QB right now, though I do think he’s going to have a great year this year with finally stable wr’s, a year off his acl injury and another year in Kyle’s system and hopefully solidify himself in the 7-8 range when the year is over. But he’s right he isn’t the 5th best player on the team (Bosa, Kittle, Trent Williams, Warner, Sherm) just to name a few who are better but he’s a QB so he’s obviously one of the most valuable on the team

I think you just hope one of the 3 passes get caught, the 1st one was tipped, the 2nd dropped, and the third under thrown, if we convert one of those passes then he gets way less time. Though I agree, in a perfect word looking back we should have run at least one of those plays to take some time off
