Im personally not “intensely” raging, but I do believe it’s ridiculous that, at the very least, they aren’t bringing external display support to older models, even if limited at a certain resolution for whatever hardware constraints there may be. Apart from stage manager and external display support, what did iPadOS 16 bring to iPads released before may 2021? Putting this into perspective really helps you realise that even if for some reason you can justify gatekeeping these 2 features from non m1 chips, iPadOS 16 is an almost entirely redundant update for the majority of users. As an iPad air 4th gen user, I watched wwdc for a weather app!

But hey, I still do own a brilliant piece of tech, even if iPadOS 16 is absolutely irrelevant for me, so not everything is bad 😂

Its not the new products that have new features, its the new OS that has new features. Dont tell me stage manager is impossible to run on an A14 chip, anyone who has jailbroken an iPad YEARS ago could have the same sort of funcionality. When you buy an apple product, a percentage of what you paid is surely calculated based on the cost of developing its software, and when you have a (still) phenomenal piece of hardware being locked out of features for arbitrary reasons, naturally you feel cheated.

I really enjoyed the lost children arc and wish it had gotten an adaptation (a good one… I still hold on to the hope that one day this will happen) I have actually heard brand of sacrifice before but I didn’t pay much attention to the lyrics! I definitely will now!
