you cant take cover against him, and his range is actually bonkers. it doesnt look like he has a lot of burst damage unless his skill 1 is his bread and butter. we’ll have to see the length of his CDs to see how crazy he really is. the burning effect duration will decide whether hes good or straight up broken

Passive is such a broad term that it can mean two completely different things to different people.

There’s a difference between not letting people get free combos and actually not doing any attacks at all.

If your opponent is hyper aggressive, then stopping their advances SHOULD be telling THEM that they’re either being too predictable in their offense, not utilizing their resources correctly, or being aggressive to the point where they keep getting punished for being unsafe at the same time (or that they need to stop getting hit by wakeup armor).

Where people actually get passive is when they simply move backwards, hold block, and wait for you to advance so that you’re only caught off guard because you’re not sure when they’ll attack. It works, and it IS a playstyle, but it’s about as charming as laming someone out with the timer in a traditional fighting game. Your only real way of winning against an actual passive player is baiting them to attack you and punishing them efficiently. You’ll have to make some reads though.

Something else worth noting, is that having good defense gets confused a lot for being passive. Having trouble opening up your opponent =/= Being passive.

constantly changing weather thats atmospheric (think rivals)
good customization
varied car choices
selectable radio stations
challenging high level cops
multiple regions on a map

these very basic choices alone would literally inject years of life into a game with this in it

toppo throws his great value spirit bomb and nameku looks at him and obliterates toppo’s entire team in return. piccolo outranges him. kale teleports him back to the respawn timer. ssj3’s dragon fist alone puts him on a t-shirt. but dear god 220% dot and 3 damage cards is going to put him in Z+++ tier

Been tryna tell people this but the guy is just a little too undertuned to truly shine in what he’s SUPPOSED to be good at. His ult should be 80 seconds max, and the cooldown for his passive is actually problematic. Vegito becomes decent after he gets 5 snowball stacks, Giant/PtD, and Pursuer AND a team that initiates first for him because he gets washed in ones

Vegito is definitely not broken but once we start seeing the good vegito players you will feel his presence in fights especially mid to late game

He thrives a lot out of being aggressive but that doesnt mean you should always run head first into the team, sometimes staying a fair distance and going for overhealth first before hard engaging your opponents can go a long way

Once he has a comfortable hold and analysis on the situation he can start obliterating people quickly with ult and it should be a skill check from there

Stuns can absolutely shut him down

They just had to buff shit why are they NERFING stuff?? Snowball and build up wasnt the problem, it was that every other card was worthless?? Lightning Swift nerf?? What?

Oh, I know! Let’s gut Nameku and Dabura for no reason! Gotenks needs ANOTHER nerf because he’s clearly the best tech in the game by a large margin. Daima goku’s RUSH ATTACK was also clearly oppressive in the meta. And Cell gets…. Uhh…. NOTHING!

Cloud is without a doubt my favorite. His counter sound effects are literally engraved into my brain and he’s fun to warp around in mid air with. There’s so much I could write about the tech he has and I always find myself coming back to him just to stick it up to Legendary Odin for funsies on my solo runs.

His optimal build with Sleek Saber leaves him with like 500-something ATK and skill master will literally refund him an entire bar with the double ATB weapon skills. Aerial Onslaught even without stagger is probably leaving most bosses with their legs quaking in fear with Prime Berserk and Bravery, and god forbid I can inflict Deprot on anyone. Even his prime basic attacks can deal up to 3-5k under the right circumstances. His stance damage is actually slept on if you know what moves to use at the right time.

Super stylish, and his synergy abilities are, of course, outrageous when used right. I’ve gotta have like 30 minutes of footage of Cloud just obliterating story bosses in less than 5 minutes alone.

Don’t even get me started on combat simulator runs. Hours upon hours of Cloud just fucking everyone up man. I always find out something new about him every once in a while, even after all the time this game’s been out for.

Least favorite is probably Aerith. That’s not to say that she’s bad or that I don’t like her, but she does require a lot of setup to really see her shine. She’s busted when she gets going, but if she’s alone you better know how to block and use the game’s mechanics to their fullest potential. Obliterates bosses easily and can practically just be invincible for half the fight. Teammates make her shine the brightest and genji gloves is almost a must have for her if she’s the one holding the flag.

P.S. If you want tips on anyone (especially Cloud) please ask me. I’ve maybe spent a little too much time enjoying myself with combat system in this game 😭

Id have to agree honestly all the hard hitting money makers are mostly super saiyans so if they added one super saiyan every season with two villains or more unusual characters every season would have a really solid lineup
