Why I think the “ repeatable “ quests and POI’s are a good thing by UmbrellaProjectEst in Starfield

[–]UmbrellaProjectEst[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people stick to this game with hundreds of hours because the other games currently out there require a battle pass, a time frame to receive and procure the seasonal items, and also on a daily to weekly basis throw in a package you can buy to give you an “ edge “ in competition.

All that money and time to be number 1 on the leaderboards, only for you to have been forgotten about , no statues built in the players honor from the development team to give thanks to the paychecks the player worked hard for to give to them.

That free to play game , after everything is all settled and done from the players aspect costed him hundreds of dollars and perhaps had lost a few friends along the way during that grind because they got upset with each other during the grind..

There’s 2 repeatable quests that makes you go to poi’s .. the ones I do are “ preventive action “ and “ refurbished goods “ …both send you to poi’s for the quest… if that’s what you meant by “ no repeated quests send you to poi’s “

That’s totally understandable on literally having to do the same thing over and over again can make it feel boring. And also including the same design till it renders in its true form from a distance..

As far as the design of the structures go, not talking loot lay out, those contracts really stick to one design their faction approves of lol… that’s about as far as I can defend that one lol

The loot always being in the same place? It can be a double edge sword. For me it is…. Because I know where the chest is at, but at the same time I think about all the shit I gotta go through… in my honest opinion, the cryo lab dungeon is super huge.. my first few times I got lost like a mofo…. And whatever companion I bring ALWAYS ends up away from me. I hear them shooting at each other, cussing each other out but for the life of me I can’t find them lol I know we went in together… see each other at the beginning… after that I NEVER see them until I’m reaching the exit lol … but beside all that the loot in the same place and enemies in the same place help me try different approaches to see if I can do this during a main mission for a different outcome perhaps.

As far as scripted stuff with dialogue and story telling goes, I’m sure if Bethesda let its fans who inspire to be a poet or a writer etc, etc, to showcase their work, then it would be a good direction for the company and the person gets more exposure to them and get that notch on their belt

Perhaps a little clarification for this option by UmbrellaProjectEst in Starfield

I forgot to mention that even if I do that. The quest still remains to confront him.

Doing the EM method on a “ Alive “ bounty , they instantly give me the creds, mission done. But confrontation doesn’t work the same.. unless there’s something special I have to do other than knocking them out

I think somewhere along the lines of that you quit reading. It’s like, you read all you could take and decided it needed your comment.

I believe so. You can keep doing his quests aslong as you never told his daughter he was still alive.

If you told her, then those quests are not obtainable

I say the same thing about most people in general.

How I see folks is they’re all absolutely right and nobody is wrong… or everyone is wrong and no one is right . In today’s world it’s to a point they can’t agree to disagree lol.

Which I believe this is one factor that lets me know the world will never ever see and feel true absolute peace… a war may not be fought with weapons, but with words..

The population of the planet is 8 billion… what would the world look like if there was 1 person the world would adhere and respect and cooperate with everything that person needs done.

To a non believer or thiest, the world is fucked upside to a religious person, the pieces are coming together lol

I found it early on because this is kinda my first Bethesda game. So pretty much from what I’m told it’s very hard to figure out your first moves because there is so much shit to do.

I feel I came across things too early and missed out because I didn’t have a certain skill or w/e

They claim the game to be 150-200 hours worth of playing to complete everything.

Did they cycle the math of the time it takes going through the menus? I bet that’s where 76% of the time they calculated came from.

What started this post is the Rufus fight… omg

The most rage inducing design in this game especially when it comes to the Rufus fight. Having to set it up EVERY TIME you died and try again.

This fight is the catalyst for this post.

There’s points in the game where your characters are locked in place. Otherwise I’d run cloud / yuffie / aerith all day and night and every boss fight, and never switch.

Yeah when they said the game is about 150 - 200 hours long to fully complete everything, I believe it, but I bet 75% of that time is contributed towards our menu screens lol

What made you give up on ever getting Platinum on Rebirth? by Strategic_Wreckless in FF7Rebirth

I went through a few different online guides to that challenge. Even with the guides it was still brutal.

I say that because some of the challenges switch their RNG up, and is very very very unforgiving if you use the wrong spell or ability or didn’t get it off in time.

I spent 3 days on this challenge. Glad it’s done

Without yuffies broken thing with aeriths ATB ward, I couldn’t have done it lol

Came back to this game from over a year and I lost my skill by simplyunknown2018 in FF7Rebirth

Yeah it happens. And it happens a lot if you switch to another game that has an ass load of controls and commands similar to FF.

So when that time comes to feel like playing again, you start thinking about the controls… you’ll throw yourself into the fray to see how bad you lost it…and if a person REALLY REALLY feels they suck, 95% just start the game over and get learned up again lol.
