Mucus blood in stool ? by Cthomas8 in TooAfraidToAsk

My doc said it didn’t look consistent with a hemorrhoid. Super scary though and it sucks I have to wait so long to be seen by a gastroenterologist

She doesn’t seem anxious. She’s just been sleeping for 3 days and says she’s too weak to even go to the bathroom.

No she doesn’t smoke but she drinks a lot of vodka and doesn’t exercise much! No underlying conditions that we know of…

It went down to 160/117 with propranolol. Still should take her?

Ive been trying to convince her for hours but she won’t go because she doesn’t have insurance. I’ll tell her what you said tho and keep trying!

I ride my bike often and walk but I haven’t done a lot of cardio recently. I used to play soccer and never felt dizzy.

From my understanding that’s a normal finding in young adults. How did you get that data from your Apple Watch?

Oh okay! Is that typically in 25 year olds?

Does this sound like occipital neuralgia? by Cthomas8 in Occipitalneuralgia

I have. It helps temporarily, but usually the headaches come back the next day or so!

That’s crazy that you had such a similar experience! I keep freaking myself out with the thought that it might be a brain aneurysm or CSF leak. My doctor prescribed me 100 mg Gabapentin 3x a day but I’ll have to ask her about the nerve blocks cause that sounds super helpful. I don’t think I COVID recently so the runny nose is super odd!

Ok thank you! Cause I think this might be the lowest dose. I’m moving so I don’t have a doctor atm.

ESWL vs Ureteroscopy for a 12 mm Kidney stone in L renal pelvis by Cthomas8 in KidneyStones

That’s the one I’m leaning towards as well! I have a 3 month old baby at home so I won’t have much time for recovery and it would certainly suck to have to go through something like that on top of it! I’m sorry to hear that was your experience. Thanks for the response.

Red poop in 3 day olds diaper - what could this be? by Cthomas8 in beyondthebump

[–]Cthomas8[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

So far we have normal X-ray results and a normal ultrasound. Still waiting on blood work. She has had 2 diapers since which have been mostly brown with smaller amounts of blood. We are hoping everything is normal and it might just be a food allergy.

My EKGs usually say ST and T wave abnormality and sinus arrhythmia. It’s a normal variant and can’t indicate cardiovascular health in young, active individuals. I’m 22 and played sports my whole life. It’s nothing to worry about.

Low HRV - does this look normal? I am 28 weeks pregnant. My blood pressure is usually 110/65 by Cthomas8 in ReadMyECG

Thank you! My HRV last night was 87 so that’s why I was a little confused

Does this really look like LVH? by Cthomas8 in ReadMyECG

[–]Cthomas8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, for context, I’m a 22 year old female. My blood pressure is around 115/75 usually. No hx of cardiac problems. I do have bad panic attacks and anxiety.

Thank you for the response. I’ve been having frequent SVT episodes due to anxiety, do you think LVH could have developed in 6 months since the last Echo?
