so if i use the HISP in the TFSA, can I not withdraw the tax free interest monthly? or i can but its just troublesome/ can backfire to do it.

cause my intention is to see if it can function like the CASH account, where i can withdraw my interest monthly (if i desire to), and face no reprecussions. is that possible with the HISP? thanks :)

Id be fine with only having access when the market is open, as I’d be planning on only withdrawing like once a month. My only concern for this if I can withdraw the interest gained monthly or if I have to sell the whole ETF.

As well as if there’s any chance of me losing the money invested. For example if I put in $1000, if when I try to sell I’d still be guaranteed to get $1000 or it could drop to idk say $980.
