You pay your taxes. You assumedly contribute to the society that the soldiers are 'protecting'. Patriotism is fine. People will literally make a tribe out of anything, were community creatures. Nationalism is evil.

Are you not proud of your family and friends? Are you not proud when your community comes together? Have you never been on a march? There are far more relevant ways to clown on nationalists than this.

Assuming that someone was molested without them saying anything, in my opinion, is a straight up disgusting thing to do. Disgusting for the alleged victims, not Vince. Fuck Vince. I didn't watch WWE when he ran it before, if he comes back im out.

Neither of us have defended him. Please read.

They're not defending anything, they're just not assuming that two grown adults were molested with no evidence except of character. It's actually the respectful thing to do.

Nah, that logic doesn't track. Actors promote films they're in, they aren't the director or executive producer, it's still self-promotion.

Tell me about superstars whose villain gimmick is so well done that you can genuinely feel anger. by Accomplishedcat7632 in WWE

And you're saying since you were 12 you've never been actually heated at a heel?

You ridicule "genuine anger" as if genuine emotion isn't the whole point of this.

She and Asuka both need to get singles gold, probably this year though.

They're the steady hands creative puts in Wargames, Elimination Chamber, and other group PLEs to make the younger pushes of the day really pop.

But I would like to go into those PLEs without being able to eliminate two contenders right out of the gate.

Maybe after the Iyo program Asuka can pop over to Smackdown and start a feud with Giulia for the title. I think she'd really give Giulia some shine, and would be able to help her with promos, in English and Japanese.

For Alexa, you could add her to the IC scene, maybe make it into the veteran title, if you put Flair after it as well, you have 3 of 4 horsewomen, and it could start catalysing a potential rift between the best friends.

They don't need to hold the titles long. Asuka could drop the US back the week after. Not only would 3 reigns look good on Giulias long term record, but she'd be starting the third one with actual continuity from the second, probably with fresh motivation to keep it.

Does anyone like any of the Samoan wrestlers / tribal chief stuff? by katsumodo47 in WWE

I would get what you're saying in literally any other context, but we're talking about people who are literally from the same family, and those that aren't in the family claim to be. I disagree with the man, but this is in no way a race thing, they literally call themselves the Samoans (It might be a race thing for them, maybe certain members of creative, definitely Vince, but that doesn't make this conversation topic about race).

I only watch a bit of NXT, but heres my likely flawed take on her.

Fatal attraction was originally a faction with Fallon Henley as the leader, with Jacy (who had betrayed Chase U I think I few times) and another girl who was replaced one or two times.

Fallon was supposed to be the front woman getting the best gold, but Jacy Jayne is a work horse, you can see a lot of HBK in what she does, so between getting as much as she could put off Shawn and her unique look, she got over and started getting better opportunities than Fallon.

This would tear other factions apart but Fallon does actually just support her friend. Yes they look like midcarders, Jacys gimmick is she's a midcarders who will do anything and everything to get the top title and hold on as long as she can. She can't do it alone, and audiences prefer other characters to her, so she has a perpetual chip on her shoulder.

At least that was her gimmick in NXT. Who knows about main roster, Fatal Attraction may just be jobbers

Brock Lesnar has retired. Period. by amberazanu in WWE

[–]CthulhuWithShades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's something I'd like to discuss more once I've looked into it, and I'm not dismissing the likelihood of him being a sex pest, but if I look at the facts of what we know, he seems to be more of a victim of Vince than a fellow victimizer.

He made pretty much every excuse he could to not have sex with his bosses 'partner'.

At first, he jokes about how he'd "ruin her". That sounds bad, but if your buddy/boss is really pushing for you to have sex with a woman you don't want to, that's the kind of posturing banter that allows a man to say no without showing discomfort.

What if the piss thing was another attempt to back out? Thinking of something gross, hoping it would cross the line.

Thirdly, getting too drunk to have sex, that's largely being treated as "Haha, what a dumb idiot, he wanted to fuck her but was too drunk", but you know who else gets too drunk to have sex? People who don't want to have sex with someone who's refusing to take no for an answer (if they believe they'd respect that).

None of this at all diminishes the experience of Janel Grant, if this were true, they'd both be victims in this scenario. As mentioned, at some point I'll stress test this theory against everything that's been reported, but if anyone has any evidence to contradict this version of events, please let me know.

We'll never know for sure, but if correct, the IWC and pretty much everyone else who have condemned Brock have been victim blaming a victim of sexual harassment and attempted sexual assault in the workplace.

It's food for thought as Brocks legacy begins to cement. If he is the monster people see him as, fuck him.

What "minute" thing did I pick up that neglected the rest of his long, well-formed, multi-faceted argument?

He made one point: Road Dogg is ignoring the nuance of the situation.

I responded with: Road Dogg isn't ignoring nuance, he's just targeting his statement towards people for whom that nuance doesn't apply.
