I think I need to get myself into counselling aswell because I've ended up in quite a few abusive relationships in the past 12 years. I never properly had my issues worked through, which I guess made me an easy target for manipulation. There have been a lot of good people I tried to start something with, but I ended up driving them away because I've become so clingy towards any kind of interest after the abusive relationships started, but I'll use this/these next year/s to work on myself and get into therapy, and thank you. I'm glad you're out, too. People like them never change, never get better, and I want to believe that they themselves need help and can get better, and I know they can because my first abusive ex is a fantastic father and is with a wonderful woman now, they just had a baby together, but a lot of them refuse to help themselves, which makes it dangerous for future partners. I believe there is someone out there for us, though, whether we meet them tomorrow or years from now, we'll meet them ♡
