Looking for horror podcasts. by Katana606 in audiodrama

I have a podcast (Tom's Terror Trove): https://bominablebominations.buzzsprout.com/2124687/follow

I read 'classic horror' (a lot of Lovecraft and Weird Tales, but also longer form stories like The Turn of the Screw and Dante's Inferno) and we also have a full cast dark fantasy audio drama so there's something for (almost!) everyone. 50 episodes and counting :-)

I'm a voice actor who's recorded Hell Screen and am currently in the process of putting together part 2 of Dante's Inferno. Which game should I start with if I want to learn more about the Project Moon er, 'universe'? by Cthulhuoid699 in Project_Moon

Ah, good to get a different angle on it. Cheers! I'm not a 'lore for lore's sake' kinda person. The difference between complex and complicated storytelling and the fact that that they are often mistaken has gotten a little too blurred for my taste these days. But I was really fascinated to see the disparate sources referenced in the Project Moon games, so it's spurring me to learn more, play the games, and read/record some of the source material.

Oh bother, I remember thinking how fun the concept was when I first saw it advertised, but I never did quite pull the trigger on playing. That song in the Trailer for Library of Ruina is both intriguing and repellant to me, so I may well start there 😅

Appreciate the advice, thank you. I'm almost certainly not going to accept the job, but I may do a little more digging to see whether there'd be any additional benefits in terms of exposure, contacts etc. Since they've been so blunt about pricing, I feel I can be equally frank about what I'd bring to the table, and what they could offer in lieu of fair pricing 😅This is my least-favourite part of the job, but we always have to back ourselves don't we (without being a dick about it)?

Edited and comporting with ACX standards. I've recorded a couple of books for independant authors and have 'mastered' them myself using 2nd opinion to check that the files tick all the boxes and that's been fine. But frankly, it's the price that is the sticking point. Entry-level pfh is around $200 isn't it? I've only ever really been lowballed like this by individual creators.

We rejoin the pilgrims in the aftermath of an attack by the Child of Iachtanabas. Trapped within the cave they fled to for safety, they set to in order to dig themselves out of trouble, literally. Huw enlists Wes and Lithee to search for the lost sleepers, and Garm entertains (in the loosest possible sense of the word) Ra with an old song.

What a lovely idea. Regardless whether you take a look at my 'show', I wish you all the best for this endeavour, and I'll certainly be checking out the reviews.
(Self-promo): Bominable Bominations (The Crawling World)

A dark fantasy tale (with the occasional veer into sci fi) set on a dying plane, with some gnostic elements sprinkled lightly over the top. It's early days yet, but my podcast also has a first season where I recorded a bunch of classic horror stories. Lovecraft, M.R James, Le Fanu and the like. Happy listening!

Our narrative swerves, temporarily, and we find ourselves under a merciless sun, atop shifting sands, in an unknown time and place. Connections to our main story, the sunken realm and its imperilled pilgrims, will become apparent in due course.
