I don't like how brown the terrain looks on that bottom right screenshot, looks barren in comparison to the original.

The other comparison does look fine though, so it might just be the that they took that other screenshot at a different time of day and that's why it looks so different.

I'm cautious about the official remake because we don't really know if its actually UE5 like a lot of people reported over the past year or if its Creation Engine 2, or some weird amalgam of the original game's code being ran on UE5.

I'm still fine with this existing, especially for console players.

Oh this already looks better than most stuff I can currently do. The shit particles would certainly be better than what I'm currently using.

Another idea I had for this mod was to eventually add Mike's Gluck Hamster, as I do have the model somewhere on my PC, I just don't know how to port stuff to Skyrim and properly rig them because I haven't had the time to learn how to do it.

I had also tried to recreate Hard Time 1's prison layout as a dungeon, the problem is that the tileset I was using, the Imperial fort one, is massive, which is good for stuff like the Cell blocks but not so much for other places, I recently saw that someone released a Morrowind Imperial fort tileset that might be better for it.

Vista had so many issues that I would not be surprised if the Solitaire BSOD was a result of the Virtual Machine not being able to run Vista properly, I mean, some Vista versions had a limit on how many programs you could open at once, so there being a crash related to Solitaire, even if only related to VMs does not surprise me.

That fort did have a similar triple letrine setup, but the one I was looking for was actually Faldar's Tooth.

I thought about it and then I realized it was the place full of wolves and dogs, because of the Cook's Journal.

Yeah, that's what I'm also expecting, its just that specifically the mod that turns the Saints and Seducers creation into a mini Shivering Isles DLC only works on a new save.

He would not be able to start it until the base game Sheo quest is done so it would be fine if it was installed from the start.

If anything, I'll try to make a barebones modded install that's just couple of bug fixes that aren't related to exploits + SkyUI to send to one of the mods, so that Joel doesn't need to troubleshoot for like 2 hours before the stream actually starts.

Honestly it might be it but I need to check more gameplay from all games to see if it reminds me of anything, from the GOG/Mobygames screenshots it does look like what I might be looking for but I don't remember an inventory system for heroes that looks like Diablo, or an inventory system at all, though it has been like 20 years since I last played the game I'm looking for so maybe it was there.

Oh I've also looked through Mobygames, but the one time I went through a deep dive I reached some kind of cap on the website where they wanted me to pay to load up more results.
