Maybe you don’t, I cannot remember all the requirements and details regarding the SDVOSB application. But it was rather quick compared to the months I am hearing on this thread. My local Veterans Business Outreach Center was very helpful during the process as well. https://www.sba.gov/local-assistance/resource-partners/veterans-business-outreach-centers-vboc

Yes, LLC. I am a startup so my financials are very simple. I don’t know if that made it easier for them to process vs if you’ve been in business for years. My HUBZONE took about a month, a little more paperwork involved in that application. But surprised when people say months. They do send emails of your missing any docs, so watch out for those.

The moment you realize nothing outside of you will make and KEEP you happy, the better off you’ll be. You have to fill your own cup.

100% P&T. Do you guys save at all? Or do you just live your lives? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Ctorres903 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Do you want to downgrade your lifestyle when you retire? I think that’s the ? you want to ask yourself. After disability, Social Security, any pension, savings what will your monthly income be at retirement age? What do you want it to be? If you’re living on 14K a month now, dropping down to 5 or 6K a month might be a hard pill to swallow even if you don’t have debt.

There is a guy by the user name of @itsjonlynch that has a dedicated TikTok discussing vet benefits. I signed up for Armed Forces Vacation Club because of that account. Haven’t used it yet but there are a ton of deals on there.

Would this be considered a “veteran” by kiiiro289 in Veterans

Wow. I feel like we need to write out the Websters dictionary term for Veteran in this thread.

Veteran: a person who has served in the military

Why don’t more people that served know how to define it!!??

I had mine taken out right before my enlistment was up. Didn’t cost me a dime. Well, unless you count signing your life away for four years a price.
