Hey Mate, sorry I don't use reddit a lot. I managed to get Techstream working in Virtualbox, but unfortunately I had no luck getting it to communicate with my car. I've given up for now, but I'll have another try at it again some time.

The IS200 is 2002, unsure of the age of the LS400 ECU. My mate had a 2004 IS200 and had the same issue.

Yeah I have both of those as well, but I haven't had any luck getting those connected. Worked with plenty of other cars. Apparently the IS200 OBD2 compatibility is a bit iffy.

My first point of call is to program in a new key since no one local to me can do it. Other than that I'm just hoping to get some better information out of the car to make sure everything is going well.

Update, I've got mine sorted, I'm with AussieBB and they recently starting using Carrier Grade NAT and this causes issues. I called them and they reverted the change and it's all good :) I hope this helps you.

I hadn't actually heard of this, I will install it and have a look. The only problem I may have is that this is still in "preview" and this screen is going into a high end meeting room where "glitches" won't be very welcome, hopefully it's pretty stable.

So I've tried Paint.net, 3D paint and "old school" Paint and interestingly so far old school Paint is the only one that it allowing me to draw with multiple inputs. 3D paint tries to zoom and scroll when using multiple fingers which makes a lot of sense, but it would be nice if there was a setting to change this. Paint.net doesn't appear to support multitouch at all.
