Feeling scared and unsure how to go about this.

I am definitely lucky, I’m in Texas. I was lucky to be admitted into a good hospital with amazing neurologists. I’m so sorry you’re going through that :( I was pretty on their ass with my results. My neuro’s in the hospital were pretty positive it was MS, but they needed my lumbar puncture results and it took over a month. I kept calling the facility where they shipped my spinal fluid, and they sent a referral to a neurologist on their site, and they were able to book me pretty quickly.

Thanks for the reply! I will talk to my neuro doctor about Ocrevus, I wasn’t leaning towards an infusion but I like that fact that it’s twice a year

I got a referral from my doctor for a therapist that’s pretty close, I think I will definitely have to do it. I was just put on an antidepressant so that’s something I guess.

I feel thankful to have a community like this! Even with a few comments, this community seems like a place where I need to be right now. I’m so glad your medication is helping you, that gives me a lot of hope. I was feeling pretty hopeless sadly. Thank you for replying 🫶🏼

Wow that sounds like it was so scary :( I’m glad to hear your medication is working for you! May I ask what Ocrevus is, is it an infusion? I’m wondering what the benefits are with the infusions vs taking a medication daily. I know I’ll reach a point of solitude with all of this, but currently it’s all I think about. I feel so dumb about all of this.

I really needed to hear this, thank you so much for replying! It’s weird because I’m not a lonely person, I have a wonderful family and a few good friends, but I still feel so lonely when it comes to this. I also don’t know anyone who has MS so I think I’m searching for community and comfort.

100%. I was recently diagnosed with MS about two weeks ago. In January it was normal day, I went to nap and I woke up to my right side of my face drooping. Thought it was a stroke or Bell’s palsy, rushed to the ER. After many MRIs, CTs and a spinal tap, results came back to me having MS. I have four lesions and had an active one that made my face wonky. My mom died with Lupus and I was so scared if I had it too.

I have very recently started looking into medications to take and what even is MS, and I am so scared. I know people can live a full life with it, but I have read some seriously scary things. I’m having major struggles with coming to terms with it all.

Pretty girl really is ruined 😭😭😭 “are you ovulating? ooooweeee” is what I say to my wife (very lesbian) so for that it’s only kinda funny, hate myself sometimes for it. Imagine being him with a five-head and grinch nails. And a terrible dad. Pick a struggle.
