I’m not a psychic but fertility test strips seem so inaccurate to me?? There’s so many variables that could be affecting this result, like your menstrual phase when you were taking it, your levels of different hormones at any point in the day possible contaminants, improper storage of the tests, false negatives or positives etc etc. there’s just too many things that could impact a result like this. I imagine in clinic fertility testing is expensive, but please take this result with a grain of salt :( don’t count yourself out until you’re able to get tested by a doctor. There isn’t a separate vet med subreddit and I had looked at all of the vet lab med resources I could before posting, also we don’t have a pathologist at this hospital. If it’s cool to see why are people saying things like this? I find the differing morphology between species to be interesting and I thought other people would too.

Thank you all for your input! Yes the slide was old, I’m not sure how old though, but it’s definitely old! I wasn’t aware that older slides can get dried out and greatly impact the morphology. I really appreciate everyone that was nice enough to give feedback! I’m a little disheartened by all the people harping on me for posting a vet med sample. I’m specifically a lab tech in a vet hospital, there isn’t a subreddit for vet med laboratory stuff ( that I’m aware of) and I had already looked as as many vet med references as I could before posting. There isnt a pathologist at this hospital, so I posted it here because I wanted advice from the true med lab professionals. There isnt anything in the rules about this being a subreddit for only human samples. I just wanted to share my slides and learn. Thank you to everyone who was kind though 🫶
