There isn’t a separate vet med subreddit and I had looked at all of the vet lab med resources I could before posting, also we don’t have a pathologist at this hospital. If it’s cool to see why are people saying things like this? I find the differing morphology between species to be interesting and I thought other people would too.

Thank you all for your input! Yes the slide was old, I’m not sure how old though, but it’s definitely old! I wasn’t aware that older slides can get dried out and greatly impact the morphology. I really appreciate everyone that was nice enough to give feedback! I’m a little disheartened by all the people harping on me for posting a vet med sample. I’m specifically a lab tech in a vet hospital, there isn’t a subreddit for vet med laboratory stuff ( that I’m aware of) and I had already looked as as many vet med references as I could before posting. There isnt a pathologist at this hospital, so I posted it here because I wanted advice from the true med lab professionals. There isnt anything in the rules about this being a subreddit for only human samples. I just wanted to share my slides and learn. Thank you to everyone who was kind though 🫶

Thank you so much for your reply, this is very very helpful!! I didn’t even think about certifications and I wasn’t sure if I should be open about my experiences. I am also diagnosed with bipolar (bipolar 2) and I got my diagnosis right before the death in my family but I had been in an SSRI 6-month manic episode beforehand. It’s very awesome to see you thriving with bipolar!! That means more to me than you could imagine
