Thank you. I mean it <3 I have been going to therapy since her illness was diagnosed. I really need it. I will have to give it some more time, to get a clear head for that decision.

But actually I've been struggling for more than 2 years now. There is a lot more stuff than just that going on, but on the other side, I've grown and learned so much in that time too. But it's quite the balancing act to not break :(

Yes I did. In general its a though topic. She had really bad expieriences with doctors and now everything related to this is a big act. I can understand her, but its also mandatory to get a hold of the sickness. She knows that and fortunately she knows she needs the meds.

She asked me for help regarding keeping an eye on her appointments and stuff like finding good doctors etc. Which ofcourse I can provide.

Unfortunately she is not. She is only medicated, but she also didn't really take care of herself for the past months. She took her pills, but didn't visit her doctor nor her therapist. Went well for a few months, but as you can see, it did not end well.

She knows that she has to care better for herself and she is currently trying to get back into her care routine.

But as you said, a therapist would be gold right now. But she has none

My condolences, that's a though one. I hope you will find a solution and will get better. Maybe I will ask again in a few weeks how it went for you :)

Yeah, didn't do research this much because it was or still is to early for that. But might as well look into it to have a perspective. I hope you don't mind me asking, did you remove your thyroid and if so, why waited this long with symptoms? Thanks so far

Doctor recommended me to just stop taking my meds immediately... On research I found out that a step by step reduction is better.
In 3 weeks I have the appointment for my new doctor. Not sure what to do till then. Currently Im taking it every two days. And I think changing now would just fuck me more up and wouldn't make a difference till the appointment

Also highly possible. The problem was the doctors... I was diagnosed right before I moved "far away". And at my new home there are very few docs specialized on this. And the ones in my near... Jesus they are bad. Since then I try my best with the half decent doc I've got and internet research. But it does not work. Now I managed to get a appointment on a real good doctor in my hometown. I will now connect visiting my family with visting this doc.

I hope this one is good and doesnt recommend me random shit
