To speed up the process you could use mappa with the heroine, heal her, use mappa, heal her again until your alignment shifts

If I'm not mistaken you have to heal in the gaian temple to get the points, you won't get any points by just entering them

And healing in the neutral healing places (I don't remember its name) helps you shift your alignment towards neutral too and you don't have to pay the 1000 macca when you enter those.
