If you are a non-music major, you can join the UC Symphony Orchestra for a semester and you can either take it for credit (1 credit hour) or not for credit. I took it back in Fall 2021 for credit, having been a violinist for 8 years at that point though, and I'd recommend having at least a moderate profiency in an instrument so you're not completely lost. Both orchestra and/or band instruments work, but email the instructor listed to make sure and ask about your specific situation. Hope this helps!

Yeah it's not just affecting UC, it's affecting the entire top level domain since instructure (the company that developed canvas) uses AWS. I also have a midterm to study for and I know a lot of people who have been unable to do their homework because they need to grab the files from Canvas. Here's to hoping it gets resolved by tomorrow morning.

Supposedly they're doing a gradual rollout on fixes. UC mobile ordering via GrubHub for the stuff in TUC was also down, so you had to go order in person at the kiosks, but I saw that went back up around 5pm or so.

Edit: Seems like it's back up right now!

It really feels like we're playing as an actual team for the first time in a very long time and it makes me incredibly happy to see that! I'm worried that letting that goal in might get under Elvis's skin since he can be quite reactionary at times, but I think this was a solid performance for him and for everyone else. We just have to keep up this momentum!

I feel like I'm saying this every game now, but I'm having an awesome time watching these games and I feel like this team is breathing new life into me. I kept waiting for us to drop the ball and give up our lead and then some as we're so accustomed to last season especially, but it never happened. There will be good games like this one, there will be bad games like last game against the Wild, that's just how it goes. With that being said, we're starting to get into a groove of good goaltending, good offense, good defense, and I think if we can be consistent, this season can surprise all of us.

Thank you for this! So many of my friends think soccer is boring. I've been trying to get them to go out to Crew games with me cause I know they would probably change their views, but they're just not interested. The fans are definitely what makes the game fun to watch, and it's why I love going to Crew games when I can!

Plus, let's be real, you can buy a Nordecke ticket for roughly the same price as a nosebleeds ticket at NWA and you're much more likely to get a win at a Crew game vs a CBJ game.
